Reid Schuerman

Head Coach, Boys Team; Assistant, Girls

Email

Reid Schuerman is on his second year coaching here at Blaine. He is very excited to be returning to the team and to continuing working with a very talented group of athletes. Reid started swimming in 2009 with Champlin Park swimming all four years of high school. After a short break, he got into coaching through the Coon Rapids YMCA in late 2014 where he coached all different age groups.  Being a breaststroker and IM-er at heart, his focus as a coach is technique. He personally think that if we can create a strong base of solid technique that becomes second nature, speed will naturally come after as a byproduct. He is very excited to be with the team and that he gets to continue coaching with Blaine!
