Coach Raymond Zhou
Dear Parent and Swimmer Sharks,
My name is Raymond Zhou, and I am the Head Coach of the Stonebridge Swim Team. I swam for Stonebridge during the summers of 2001-2011, and served as a coach for my last five years with the team. While with Stonebridge, I also swam for Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC) and Thomas Wootton High School, captaining Wootton to the Men’s County Championship. Swimming has continued to be a big part of my life during and after college. Last year, I re-joined the Stonebridge Sharks as we won the Division F championship.
I am extremely excited to be re-joining the team and have a lot of plans for this upcoming summer. My goal is to help each swimmer reach his or her goal(s), be it a faster swim, stronger technique, new friendships, or a fun-filled summer. I have assembled a diverse team of bright, ambitious, and enthusiastic coaches to help me do so.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, email me: email@example.com. I look forward to working with each of you soon!
Let’s go Sharks!
Coach Jeffrey Qin
What's up Sharks? My name is Jeffrey Qin and I am returning to the Sharks as a Senior Coach! This will be my 4th year at Stonebridge and I'm as excited as ever. In the last two years, I have been apart of the coaching staff with Stonebridge and I can say that I love being able to help my fellow teammates even more this year. Throughout my years swimming with the National Training Group in RMSC and with Wootton High School, I've garnered alot of experience I would love to share with the team. After 13 years of swimming, I can absolutely say swimming is my passion and that my love for the pool is something I will share this year. You may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any inquiries.
Coach Justin Zhou
Hello everyone! My name is Justin Zhou, and I am a Senior Coach for the Stonebridge Sharks this summer. My first experience with the swim team was watching my older brother powerfully swim through the water, some twelve years ago, where I fell in love with the sport and the team. Since then, I have swum for various teams like the Nation's Capital Swim Club and the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club, as well as the Wootton High School Swim Team and more importantly, the Stonebridge Sharks. With the Sharks, I have participated much in the pre-team, in the past as a helper and leader, and more recently as the Pre-Team Head Coach. I look forward to working with Raymond and the other many coaches we have this year and I’m thrilled to be able to use what I have learned with the Pre-Team. See you guys at the pool!
Coach Martin Li
Martin Li is an assistant coach and a rising sophomore in Wootton High School. He has been with the team for ten years, starting as a preteen around 2007. Never missing a summer season, he has been a preteam coach as well as a CIT prior to joining the coaching staff. He loves swimming and it has always been part of his life, as he has been winter swimming for years as well. His sister was a swimmer and coach at Stonebridge before he was and his mom was instrumental to the administrative work of the team. He has grown up right next to the pool his whole life and loves it.
Coach Katherine Wang
Hi, my name is Katherine Wang and I'm super excited to your assistant coach! I've been part of the Stonebridge Sharks since I was six years old, and while I've been a CIT and a pre-team helper in past summers, this is my first year being an actual coach. Unfortunately, it's also my final year being a Stonebridge Shark swimmer, but I'm prepared to make the best of it. This team is why I ever started swimming in the first place, and I'm grateful I can give back to my team by introducing a new generation of swimmers to the community. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at email@example.com.
Coach Victoria Xin
I'm Victoria Xin, and I am an assistant coach for the Stonebridge Swim Team this year. Right now, I'm a rising sophomore at Montgomery Blair High School, and this is my eighth summer>I have swam for NCAP and am currently swimming for RMSC, as well as my high school. Over the course of my five years of club swimming, I have refined my strokes and have received prime examples of good coaching techniques. I aim to incorporate all of the skills I've picked up into our very own team. I'm super excited to start the swim season and can't wait to see all of the Sharks, both new and old!
Coach Rita Zhang
Hi, I am Rita Zhang and I am the incoming Assistant Coach of the Stonebridge Swim Team. I have been swimming for Stonebridge since the summer of 2006, and served as a coach in training and pre-team helper since 2014. As well as Stonebridge, I also swim for RMSC in the National Training Group and the Thomas Wootton High School swim team! Over my years of swimming, I have learned many things to help make me a better swimmer and team mate and I hope to use these experiences to help Stonebridge thrive. I am incredibly excited to finally be able to help coach the swim team that has made my own childhood summers phenomenal.
If you have any questions, want to make suggestions, or just need to talk to me, please feel free to email me: firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to working with each of you very soon.
