Senior at Carleton College
In her third year as a coach for the Brookdale Bucs, Natalie is
thrilled to be returning as your Co-Head Coach for the 2022 summer
season! Natalie swam competitively for Mavericks Swim Club from
2008-2018, four years for Metea Valley High School, 10 years for
the Stonebridge Sharks, and four years for Carleton College. She
was a “Top 15 Finisher” in the MIAC Championships in
2019 and 2020 (and hopefully will be in 2022!) In her free time,
she enjoys being outside, playing spikeball, hammocking, skiing,
and running. At Carleton College, Natalie is majoring in American
Studies and minoring in math. After college she plans to attend
grad school to get a PhD in History and go into museum work.

After hanging up his Brookdale Bucs swim cap after 13 seasons
and leaving a trail of 12 Brookdale Bucs team records, Austin
returns for the 2022 season as a Co-Head Coach and starts his sixth
year of coaching for our team! He’s also swam four years at
Metea Valley High School, 12 years at Mavericks Swim Club and is in
his second swim season for Calvin University Swim & Dive.
During his time as a Brookdale Bucs swimmer, he was awarded the
Jenni & Alli Award in 2012 and Buc of a Lifetime Award in 2020.
Austin was also a two-time IHSA State qualifier and made the
conference team at Calvin University. At Calvin University, Austin
is studying Secondary Education Social Studies and Math. He would
love to teach middle school math and social studies or high school
“As a Bucs Coach, I hope that I can bring fun,
positive vibes to the team, whether that is by wearing goofy
costumes for different swim meet themes, making Bucs parodies to
popular songs, etc."
