I am so excited to be
back as part of Hills of Walden swimming. I started swimming when I
moved to Hills of Walden in 1995, which was also the first year for
the team in our neighborhood. Since that
point my entire life has revolved around swimming. I continued swimming for Hills of Walden from 9 to 18 years old. I swam at Park Hill South where I was an All-State selection. I continued on at
Missouri State where I swam and got a degree in finance. I then got my degree in education at UMSL, where I also coached one of the top summer programs in the area. Currently I am an Algebra 1 teacher at Park Hill High School where I am coaching both swim programs as well as the jumps coach on the track team. In addition to that I have recently joined a masters swim team.
There is no better feeling than coming home, and getting the honor to coach Hills of Walden is coming home for me. I hope for a very successful summer with lots of time drops and stroke improvements, and a whole lot of fun in the process as well. See everyone soon. Go Hurricanes!
