Coach Andrew Sheller is the USAS Site Head Coach for Loudoun County. He started with Lifetime Athletic in 2013 and has worked as a Head Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Swim Coach. Andrew has coached the Lifetime Athletic Barracudas, Life Time Mid Atlantic Club Swim Team, and the Masters program and has been helping swimmers become legal and competitive for years.
Coach Andrew started his swimming career at 8 years old when he joined the NOVA USAS team based out of Richmond, Virginia. After moving to Northern Virginia several years later he joined a summer swim team in ODSL where he competed for 8 years. Andrew swam on the Varsity swim team at Stone Bridge High School for all four years and was Captain of the team his senior year; and coached his summer swim team for those four years as well. He then continued his swimming career at Elon University before starting to coach for Life Time.
Coach Andrew believes that swimmers should be pushed to be their best, but should also enjoy their sport and live a healthy, balanced life. He’s very excited to keep helping his swimmers excel at LMAC and in USA competitive swimming!
