2021 Dolphins Swim Team Coaches

Colleen Cahoon - Head Coach

Coach Colleen is thrilled to be working with the SCST Dolphins for her fourth summer! She fell in love with swimming as a summer swimmer with the Chartridge Tidalwaves when she was just a kid. Colleen is a Physical Education teacher in AACPS, and enjoys training for triathlons during her spare time. She is also very excited to become a mommy to a baby girl this fall. Here’s to a fantastic summer of swimming! Go Dolphins!

Jack Maloy - Head Assistant Coach

Hello everyone. I am extremely excited to coach the Shipley's Choice Dolphins this year! My name is Jack Maloy and I swam competitively for 14 years, starting off at SPY swim team and later moving to the SPRC Stingrays. This will be my third season with the Dolphins. Recently, I have been coaching for the Stingrays, where I know many Dolphins swim all year round. I love working with children, coaching practices, and look forward to coaching both new and more experienced swimmers!

Nathan Damanti

Hi Dolphins. My name is Nathan Damanti and I am a junior at Severna Park High School. I have been competitive with summer and year-round swimming for 7 years. I love the sport and am so excited to finally be able to coach for a full season.

Patrick Damanti

My name is Patrick Damanti. This is my fourth year as an assistant coach. I began swimming in the summer of 2014 and finished my club swimming career in early 2020. During my time as a swimmer, I always aspired to one day become a coach.  I feel fortunate that I am able to do that with the Shipley's Dolphins!

Mary Feliz

Born and raised in Shipley’s Choice, I am a homeschooled and rising sophomore, taking classes at AACC. I joined the Dolphins at age 4, proudly hold a CMSL league record, and am returning for a second year of coaching. Year round, I compete for the SPRC Stingrays and was recently elected to a two-year term as athlete representative for Maryland Swimming. Outside of swimming, I enjoy reading, completing crosswords, and collecting interesting bugs.

Eliza Patty

I’ve been a coach for Shipley’s Dolphins for four years and currently serve as a swim instructor at the Community Center (teaching kids aged 6 months old to 13 years old). I’ve been swimming for Shipley’s for twelve years and have been swimming year-round for seven. Additionally, I swam on the Severna Park High School Varsity Swim Team all four years and look forward to club level swimming next year in college!
