Kathy Hoyle, Head Coach

Rollingwood Athletic Club is thrilled to introduce our new Rockets Head Coach, and Aquatics Director, Kathy Hoyle. She is very excited to be here at our club, and looks forward to meeting our members, swimmers and their families.

Coach Kathy has been coaching and teaching swimming for over 30 years.  She started out swimming on a USA Swimming team at the age of 9 and competed at a Division I University and later at Masters Nationals.  Kathy has just recently moved back to California from Florida, where she was coaching a USA Swimming and High School team.  She has been teaching high school Special Education for over 15 years.  Kathy has 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  When there is down time, she enjoys crafting, reading, hiking, and playing with her two cats and dog.

Carsen West, Assistant Coach

Carsen began swimming with the Fair Oaks Dolphins at the age of six and moved on to compete with the year-round Spare Time Aquatics Sacramento club throughout high school. She graduated from Bella Vista in 2010 after playing water polo and swimming all four years then went on to attend Whittier College. At Whittier she swam all four years, and held records in the 100 freestyle as well as multiple relay events. She majored in English as well as Kinesiology, with an emphasis in sports science and coaching.  Carsen also coaches swim at Bella Vista High School and is quickly moving up the chain with her other favorite job and family...Dutch Bros!

Allison Leech, Assistant Coach

Coach Allison is a mom to three great kids. She grew up swimming and swam competitively through high school, including swimming for Folsom High.  As a swimmer, Allison loved distance freestyle and butterfly events. Before kids, Allison worked for the City of Roseville teaching swim lessons, life guarding, and coaching for the Woodcreek Seawolves.

Allison enjoys working with young people and has coached youth soccer and started a running club at Twin Lakes Elementary. Allison believes that swimming is a great sport for all ages because it builds community, team spirit and individual growth. You can find her working with the newest and youngest Rockets!
