Rockets Coaching Staff
Andrew Savine, Head Coach
Andrew Savine is currently in his third season as the head coach of the Rollingwood Rockets. His coaching background includes many positions as both a head and an assistant coach in recreational swimming, high school swimming, and stroke clinics in the Bay Area and the greater Sacramento area. After a hiatus from coaching for several years due to personal pursuits, Andrew joined the staff of Oakmont High School's Aquatics program in 2015, where he is now the co-head swim coach.
Coach Andrew brings a knowledgeable and motivational approach to Rollingwood with a focus on attention to detail, hard work, dedication, sportsmanship and team unity. His goal is to always help swimmers develop long, beautiful and efficient strokes...the speed will follow!
Elizabeth Rodgers, Assistant Coach
Purple, Red, and Orange Groups
Elizabeth started swimming at the age of 6 and grew up swimming for the Fair Oaks Dolphins and the Glen Oaks Sea Lions. She swam at Bella Vista High School from 2009-2013 then transferred to Sierra College in Rocklin. While at Sierra College, Elizabeth was a state qualifier and finished 8th in the state in the 100 Breast.
Elizabeth is currently a student at Sacramento State where she is studying Kinesiology. Elizabeth loves the sport of swimming and is looking forward to another great season with the Rockets!
Allison Leech, Assistant Coach
Orange Group, Bottle Rockets and Firecrackers
Coach Allison is a mom to three great kids. She grew up swimming and swam competitively through high school, including swimming for Folsom High. As a swimmer, Allison loved distance freestyle and butterfly events. She is a regular at the Rollingwood Masters Swim workouts. Before kids, Allison worked for the City of Roseville teaching swim lessons, life guarding, and coaching for the Woodcreek Seawolves.
Allison enjoys working with young people and has coached youth soccer as well as starting a running club at Twin Lakes Elementary. Allison believes that swimming is a great sport for all ages because it builds community, team spirit and individual growth. She is excited to work with the newest and youngest athletes!
Carsen West, Assistant Coach
Blue and Purple Groups
Carsen began swimming with Fair Oaks Dolphins at the age of six, and moved on to compete with the year-round club Spare Time Aquatics Sacramento throughout high school. She graduated from Bella Vista in 2010 after playing water polo and swimming all four years and went on to attend Whittier College. At Whittier she swam all four years, and held records in the 100 freestyle as well as multiple relay events. She majored in English as well as Kinesiology, with an emphasis in sports science and coaching. Carsen is currently completing her teaching credential, and hopes to be back coaching swim and water polo at Bella Vista High School soon as part of the teaching staff!
