Sam Davy

Head Coach

Sam Davy is the assistant coach at Swarthmore College where he has helped the Garnet break 36 school records and capture a conference title. Over the past four years he has spent time coaching outside of the college as well, working with youth swimmers and masters programs. Prior to arriving at Swat he worked with the collegiate swim programs at the University of Tennessee and Ohio State. During his time in Knoxville and Columbus he worked with a number of age-group and summer league swim teams. Sam was a swimmer at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point where he competed at the national level. He is also a native of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Sam currently lives in Ridley Park with his wife and son.

Maia McAllister

Maia McAllister is a current student and swimmer at New York University pursuing a combined BS in Global Public Health and Biology. She worked as an assistant coach for 92Y Flying Dolphins, as well as swam for Penn Charter Aquatic Club for over seven years, and finaled at PIAA State Championships with her high school team.

Ben Wesley

Ben Wesley is a current student and swimmer at Swarthmore College. Growing up Ben swam for the  Ridley Rays where he qualified for YMCA nationals, was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and Winter Juniors qualifier. Ben swam for the Episcopal Academy where he set multiple team records, and the Delco high school record for 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay.

Aidan Zipf

You may recognize Aidan Zipf as a long time Hidden Hollow swimmer and lifeguard! Outside of our pool, Aidan was a 3x PIAA HS State Finalist in breaststroke, Junior Nationals Competitor, and National Competitor with Rocky Run YMCA. This past fall, Aidan trained with Boston University’s D1 Terriers, where he is a student.

Jim Rightley

With over 60 years of experience as a diver, coach and producer of High Diving Shows, Coach Jim comes to Hidden Hollow eager to coach youth and share his knowledge, skills and enthusiasm for the sport.  Most recently Coach Jim served as Head Dive Coach at Penncrest High School.  He has also served as Diving coach to various swim clubs in Delaware County.  Jim still actively competes in Masters Diving Events at various venues.
