Coach Darla Long 

Darla is our Head Coach as she returns for her fourth year of coaching at Lakeridge. She graduated from St. Lawrence University in May 2019 with a BS in Psychology and Philosophy. She also swam all four years on their swim team and was a captain her senior year. 

Darla swam for Mt. Rainier High School and the West Seattle YMCA dolphins and specialized in backstroke and IM. She is excited to continue making sure all her swimmers grow and develop their ability in the water and love for the sport. 

In the fall she will move to Baltimore to become the Graduate Assistant coach for the Goucher College Swim team. 

Coach Brennon Ham

Coach Brennon is super excited to join the Lakeridge Dolphins this Summer!  Originally from the DC/Baltimore area, Brennon brings 10 years of competitive swimming (summer club, year-round club, and high school) and 4 years of swimming instruction experience to the team.  During the school year, Coach Brennon works as the Health Education Specialist for Seattle Public Schools.  When he isn’t working, you’ll find the coach in Columbia City either reading, walking with his partner and sweet senior dog, swimming, or playing competitive dodgeball.  If you see him, be sure to say hello!  Brennon cannot wait for the Summer to get here!  Go Dolphins!

Coach Tim Wetzel

Tim started swimming at Lakeridge swim club when he was 8 years old and returning to coach again this summer.  Tim graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle in 2017.  He swam on the swim team for all four years at Cleveland, and was the captain for three years.  He also played soccer all four years at Cleveland and played football for one year. Tim attends Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott, majoring in Aerospace Engineering. His hobbies include model airplane flying and drone racing. He is a Cadet in the Air Force ROTC program hoping to become an Air Force pilot after college.

Coach Sadie McCann

Sadie swam for Lakeridge for many years and completed her final season as a swimmer in 2018, while also coaching and serving as a captain!  Sadie graduated from high school in 2018 and swam with her high school team.  Sadie has returned to coach this summer after finishing a glorious freshman year at Univeristy of Oregon.
