Hi guys! My name is Kyle Delorey and I have been swimming pretty much since I could talk. Through swimming recreationally at my local YMCA as a kid to swimming for my high school and college teams, the sport has always been a massive part of my life. I’m now in my second year of coaching for the Red Waves and am super excited to have another wonderful season!”

Kimberly Bilis

Team Coordinator

Email

This is Kimberly’s 5th year as Team Coordinator. Her daughter was a Red Waves swimmer for the past 8 years.  As a High School freshman she will be joining the high school team and swimming for The Red Tide. Her eleven year old son will be going on his 5th year swimming for The Red Waves. Kimberly competitively swam growing up and continued on throughout High School where she was a member of Weston Red Tide. Her love for all things water, and her kids passion for swim team, was just a natural extension for her to be part of the Red Waves Family. She is looking forward to once again working side by side with the fantastic coaches and all the amazing parents who volunteer.

Ryan Locke

Coach/Lifeguard

Email

Ryan started his swimming career right here as a member of the Weston Red Waves, at the age of 7. Ryan also swam for many years as a US Swimmer on the Adirondack Aquatic Club (currently now Kingfish-Medfield). If Ryan looks familiar to you it is because he is a longtime lifeguard at the Weston Memorial Pool. Ryan is a 2022 graduate of Gordon College where he studied Political Science. While at Gordon, Ryan was a two-sport athlete participating in both the Men’s Swim Team (where he was named captain) and the Men’s Cross Country Team. Currently in Ryan’s full-time job he is helping to run a state senate campaign. Post the mid-term election Ryan hopes to pursue a career as a legislative aide. In his free time Ryan enjoys hiking with his dog, anything to do with Star Wars, talking politics and American history, traveling new places, and playing Fortnite with friends! Ryan’s fun fact is that when he wasn’t swimming as a kid you would have found him at the race track, racing Go-Karts! Ryan is excited to be with the Red Waves this season to help kids get excited about the sport of swimming!

Maisha Rho

Coach

Email

This is Maisha’s second year coaching the Red Waves. Maisha is a college student attending Regis College. She is in her junior year of Dental Hygiene School, and is excited to say that she will be graduating this spring! Maisha was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, before moving to the United States as a child. Maisha grew up in Florida before moving to Massachusetts, and the remainder is history. Maisha had no prior swimming experience before beginning Red Waves coaching, and with that coaching experience, she has taken courses to help me teach younger children how to swim. At the Weston Memorial Pool, Maisha worked as a lifeguard and water safety instructor at the Weston Memorial Pool. Maisha was new to working at an outdoor pool, but says that it was one of the best experiences of her life, the best summer job she has ever had! Hopefully, Maisha will be back at the Weston pool this summer again. A fun fact about Maisha is: Maisha used to sing in a high school ensemble, and continues to show her love and enjoyment of singing by doing karaoke.
