Coaching Staff

Brooke Wallace

Co-Head Coach

I’m Brooke Wallace, and I am a 21 year old from Flower Mound, Texas. I’m currently studying Business Management in hopes of working in Human Resources when I graduate.

I started competitive swimming from the time I was five years old, and continued until I graduated from high school, and I’ve been coaching for 6 years now. In fact, some of you may remember me from the 2014 season when I coached for Castlewood with my sister Morgan and Melissa.

In my free time, I like to spend most of my time outside playing some type of sport or just sitting around with my family. I’m a family girl, so I can usually be found doing some activity with them. I also love animals, Mexican food, BBQ, and anything chocolate.

I absolutely love the swim community and wish for it to keep thriving for many years. I hope this season inspires more kids and young adults to continue in their pursuit of a swimming career.

Alexis Brown

Co-Head Coach

Ever since I can remember I have loved the water. I grew up swimming on a summer team here in Flower Mound and continued with competitive swimming all the way through high school. I have been coaching both summer teams and private lessons for the past 8 years. Previously I was the Assistant Head Coach of the Wellington Sharks Swim Team.

When I’m not in the pool (which is very rarely during the summers) I love to travel, practice photography, and cuddle with my puppy, Merlin. I come from a family of 6, so there’s never a dull moment in my life and that’s just great with me. My three younger siblings and I are always looking to go on little adventures like hiking at the lake or having fun at festivals together.

Currently I’m taking a bit of time off school to travel and switch majors. I attend the University of Michigan and will likely return to pursue an earth and environmental science degree next year.

I’m so excited and proud to be coaching all of you this season! I absolutely love sharing my passion for swimming and the water and can’t wait to get back in the pool!

Go Dragons!

Cole Conrad

Assistant Coach

My name is Cole Conrad. I will be The Castlewood Dragons assistant coach for the duration of this summer. I am looking forward to meeting everyone on the team and am excited to get to know the parents and swimmers.

I have been a swimmer for 10 years now and have been on many different teams. I was a member of USA swimming for 6 years, but stopped freshman year to swim and play water polo for Marcus High School. I will be a junior at Marcus next year. Swimming and water polo have taught me leadership skills as well as have given me the tools I need to be a coach such as integrity, respect, and the spirit of teamwork. I am now a part of the National Honor Society (NHS) at Marcus. This means that I carry out services for my community such as volunteering for CCA.

I have been blessed to have a family that is loving and supports me without question. I am looking forward to sharing my strengths and talents with The Castlewood Dragons Swim Team. We are going to have a great summer together!
