Botond Solymossy is a Swim Ireland Level 3 Swimming coach and leads our coaching staff. He is an ex Hungarian High Performance Squad swimmer, World Masters Medallist and a multiple Irish gold medalist in the 50 Freestyle.
Coaching for over 10 years he brings a wealth of experience both as a competitor and coach.
Still an active competitor he achieved an Irish Summer open title competing with his own swimmers in 2014.
Botond is responsible for setting the coaching standard within the club, planning and implementing the season plan across all squads. He coaches at all levels through the club.

James Lawless is a Swim Ireland Level 2 Swimming Coach with over
15 years experience ranging from learn to swim programmes across
multiple centres to club and school based coaching.
Prior to his appointment to Trojan Swimming Club, he was working
with Willow Park School. He was responsible for building a swim
team from 10 members to over 100 to become the largest and most
successful school based competitive programme in recent times. With
multiple regional and national titles to the school name the mix of
coaching and management was the perfect fit for Trojan Swim Club.
A career swimming coach and leisure manager with 10 years
management experience, he is responsible for the day to day
operations within the club along with ensuring that all squads have
the facilities, equipment and resources they require to achieve
success in their sport. He is the ex Chair of Leinster Schools
Swimming and a current member of the Leinster Swimming Technical
