Chris Anzellotti

Head Coach (Years coaching with WSA: Seventeen)

Chris has an extensive and impressive swimming background:

  • Four year Division I varsity swimmer at Boston College
  • Four-time Big East qualifier
  • Boston College Athletic Director's recipient for excellence in athletics and academics
  • Connecticut State Champion, 1995
  • Three-time Connecticut All-State Selection
  • All-American recipient, 1995 by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association

When Chris is not on the pool deck coaching our swimmers, he is a VP of Multi Channel Consumer Experience at Fidelity.


Amy Ryan

Assistant Coach; Head age group coach, 9-10s (Years coaching with WSA: Eighteen)

Amy started swimming competitively for when she was seven years old. She capped her swimming career at Hamilton College where she was a four year varsity letter winner, qualified for Division III Nationals both her junior and senior year and achieved All-American status her senior year.  


Amy has been working in the healthcare industry for many years and when she's not on the pool deck, she can be found working as a Compliance Analyst for US Family Health Plan in Brighton, MA.


Steve Nolan
Assistant Coach; Head age group coach, 11-12s (Years coaching with WSA: Seven)

Steve grew up in Norwood, where he started swimming competitively at age seven. He went to Xaverian Brothers High School, where he won sectional titles in swimming and state titles in track. He also swam in part during his time at Syracuse University before graduating with honors in biomedical engineering. In addition to coaching with WSA, Steve has coached various teams in Norwood, Sudbury and Needham.


Outside the pool, Steve is an engineer at NeedleTech Products. He also enjoys cat shirts, The Simpsons and snuggling with doggies.


Eddie Timmerman

Assistant Coach (Years coaching with WSA: Four)

Eddie started swimming competitively at age five for the Needham Pool and Racquet Club. He was a swimmer on WSA from second grade through high school. He swam on both the Needham High School team and Shawmut Aquatic Club. He went on to become a four year varsity swimmer at Boston College where he was elected captain his senior year, was part of three ACC Championship teams, two time ACC Academic Honor roll, and still holds records. Eddie also played lacrosse at Needham high and Boston College.


Outside the pool Eddie is a police officer for the town of Needham, and at the gym with Chris making him look weak and puny.


Jen Scardino

Assistant Coach (Years coaching with WSA: Four)

Jen joined WSA at age eight and was a captain for a number of years. She was a four-year varsity member of Needham High’s swim team, where she was also named captain and competed at the state level. Jen also swam for the Needham Sharks and served as assistant head coach for two years.

Jen graduated from Fairfield University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in nursing and is currently working as a Registered Nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Needham.


Conor Davis

Assistant Coach (Years coaching with WSA: Two)

Conor’s a pretty chill dude.


Haley Lincoln

Assistant Coach (Years coaching with WSA: One)

Haley first started to swim competitively at the age of six for the Needham Sharks. She continued to swim through high school, where she swam and dove for the Needham Rockets. She swam for WSA her sophomore year through her senior year and was a captain for two of those years.


Haley studied at Penn State University and majored in Hospitality management. After graduating in May she began working for Marriott International in sales.


Meredith Sullivan

Assistant Coach (Years coaching with WSA: One)

Meredith started swimming competitively at age 5 for Brae Burn Country Club. She joined WSA when she was 8 and was a captain her senior year of high school. She was also on Newton Country Day’s Varsity soccer and golf teams. She continued her golf career at Bowdoin College and was named captain of the women’s team her junior and senior years.


After graduating from Bowdoin in May 2017, Meredith began working at Titleist as a Customer Service Representative.
