Senior I and II Group Coach
Darin Mai has experience coaching at both the collegiate and USS level. Coach Darin has worked with swimmers who have gone on to become National level swimmers, as well as Far Western and Junior Olympic champions. Highly regarded by his coaching peers for his swimmer development, Coach Darin was awarded the Sierra Nevada Age Group Coach of the Year for excellence in 2008 and 2009 by the American Swim Coaches Association. Also head coach of the Union Mine HS swim team, Coach Darin was voted the Sierra Valley Conference Coach of the Year in 2014. Coach Darin currently sits on the Board of Directors for Sierra Nevada Swimming and chairs the Technical Planning Committee. AquaSol is fortunate to have a head coach who is so highly regarded in the swim community. Coach Darin is respected for his abilities to create great swimmers and great people. Junior Group Coach
Aimee Lehr has over 20 years of coaching experience at the recreational, high school, and USS level. Referred to as one of the top age group swim coaches in the area for her technical stroke development, she finds tremendous satisfaction in working with swimmers of all ages to help them become proficient swimmers. A former Stanford Varsity swimmer and Masters National Champion, Coach Aimee brings a wealth of both personal experience and professional experience to AquaSol.

Junior II Group Coach
Brian has over twenty-five years in the Northern California swimming community, and over fifteen years experience as a swimming coach. A natural teacher, Brian's philosophy is centered in having balance as a swimmer and as a person. Brian truly loves to coach, and feels very lucky to have worked with the 1,000's of swimmers on his teams over the years.
Brian started his coaching carrier with the Sierra Marlins ('98-'03). Brian has also coached on the Rocklin Wave ('98), the Folsom Sea Otters ('01-'02), Spare Time Aquatics Swimming ('06-'16), and the Broadstone Barracudas ('06-'16).
Brian has coached Farwestern finalists, Western Zone (Western Zone coach for Sierra Nevada Swimming in '99) qualifiers, and many other swimmers who have moved on to national-level swimming. Brian is also a Waldorf P.E. (games/movement) teacher, a yogi, and a Crossfit enthusiast.
My curriculum is not swimming, it's the swimmer. Ultimately, you swim to learn about yourself--nothing matters more than knowing who you are.
