Dr. Ron Parlett, joined the coaching staff at Swim Tampa Aquatics after successful careers as a Teacher/Coach and school administrator in the Hillsborough County School District. Following this he became a full time Program Professor in Organizational Leadership and Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. After serving 14 years he retired to assist his son Scott (Head Coach) at S.T.A.
Coach Ron is no stranger to coaching, he served as Head Boys and Girls Swimming coach at Leto High School (Tampa), in 10 years as coach he had over a .850 winning percentage with 4 teams going undefeated for 3 consecutive years. His teams won 4 Western Conference Championships as well as several District crowns. Coach Ron went>

Nissa Weisser, Asst. Coach
Hailing from Colorado Springs, home of the Olympic Training Center and US Swimming, Nissa has been a lifelong competitive swimmer and triathlete. She brings her passion for the sport to STA by teaching basic stroke techniques to some of our youngest and/or new additions to our program. Although she is serious about the discipline and pursuit of competitive swimming, she believes that the love for the sport ultimately comes from having fun!

Coach Jamison joins us as a former swimmer of Swim Tampa Aquatics from several years back. Coach Jamison's love for swimming was a reason for joining STA and to give back. Coach Jamison recently acquired his Florida Swimming credentials. Coach Jamison's main responsibility is to work with the first teir of our developmental swimmers.
