Coach Mark has been coaching swimmers of all abilities since 1988. He has coached many swimmers who qualified to compete in Junior Olympics, STAGS, TAGS, Sectionals, Zones, and Junior Nationals championship swim meets, and have gone on to swim collegiately. Additionally, he has trained numerous Top 16 National Qualifiers and swimmers ranked #1 in the nation. He has a unique style that makes training fun.
Coach Mark has been voted South Texas Coach of the Year, and Open Water Coach of the Year. He has represented South Texas as an All-Star and Zone coach since 2003. Mark has been the Texas Swimming Association's All-Star Chair, on the South Texas Board of Directors, as the Coaches Representative, and the Chair of South Texas Swimming. Mark is ASCA Certified Level 4.

Head Assistant Swim Coach
This is Coach Marcy's 5th season coaching with AquaTex. Marcy's the Head Swim Coach of Gateway Prep School, has been an assistant coach with the RR Dolphins, and part of the South Texas Zone coaching staff.
Marcy has been swimming competitively since she was 4 years old. Marcy has swam at STAGS, TAGS, Sectionals, and Zones for club swimming, and has been a District, Regional, and State qualifier for the Round Rock High School.

Head Waterpolo Coach
USA Water Polo named Coach James the 2015-16 Top Development Coach for it's national Olympic Development Program. He was promoted to Head Coach of the Southwest Zone boys’ team in 2015 after leading the 2014-15 Cadet Boys to a 3-2 record at National Championships, defeating every non-California opponent.
He helmed the Round Rock High School girls to three TISCA West Region Championships in 2014, 2016, and 2017. Both the boys and girls teams earned spots at the state championships each of those years. At La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, CA he led the boys’ squad to the most improved record in the San Diego County in 2002.
He played at Long Beach Wilson High School and UC San Diego and earned his MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Coach Jill joins us for the fall of 2017. She is an Olympic swimming champion, and former world record-holder. She won four medals in three Olympic Games spanning twelve years. She was the women's head coach of the Texas Longhorns swimming and diving team at the University of Texas at Austin from 1992 to 2007. Coach Jill was also a member of the 1986 U.S. National Water Polo Team that won a bronze medal at the 1986 World Aquatics Championships.
