Coach
MikeMcCauleyhas been the Head Coach of PACK since its
inception in 2007. Since then, his swimmers have enjoyed
success at Olympic Trials, US Open, Senior Nationals, Junior
Nationals, Sectionals, and TAGS.
He has published 2 articles nationally with the
American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA), and 2 of his workouts
have been featured on the ASCA website for middle distance and
distance training.
His technique and drills have been recorded and broadcasted by USA
Swimming, 2 of his athletes have made the news on multiple
stations in Houston for their accomplishments, and he was also
featured on ESPN Locker Talk for the achievements of
PACK!
Due to athlete development and success here at Premier Aquatics,
Coach Mike was also selected as 1 of 8 coaches across the nation to
coach at the National Select Camp held at the Olympic Training
Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Since 2007, his swimmers have held (or continue
to hold) numerous pool, Gulf, and State records across all

Coach Mike
started as a head coach at the age of 18 with The Woodlands Waves.
After 4 years and a 500-member swim team later, he began coaching
with USA swim team, The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST). As an Age
Group coach with TWST for 5 years, Coach Mike assisted
in coaching many TAGS qualifiers, TAGS champions
and TAGS record holders, as well as Junior National
qualifiers. He then became the Head Coach for Oak Ridge High
School for 5 years, where he was fortunate to coach Junior/Senior
National qualifiers, 4 state champions, 3 All Americans, and 2 All
American relays. During his time with ORHS, he was voted
District and Region Coach of the Year for 2003 and 2004. While
coaching for ORHS, he simultaneously coached the Kleinwood Dolphins
for 3 fun filled years.
Coach Mike has his
B.S. in Mathematics with a Minor in Secondary Education from Sam
Houston State University and coaches
at the Spring Creek Oaks pool with the National
Elite programs. He and his wife Devon live in Magnolia with
their two daughters, Hannah and Hayden, and their son,
Callen.

Coach Shane has been PACK's Head Age Group Coach since the
beginning. His responsibilities include coaching the Junior
Elite group and overseeing the entire age group program at Premier
Aquatics. His swimmers have set TAGS records, achieved Top 16
times, Junior National, Senior National, and even Olympic Trial
cuts, as well as setting National Age Group records.
Shane grew up in Guam where he swam as both an age grouper and
high school swimmer. In 1992, Shane was chosen for the Guam
Olympic Swim Team as a distance swimmer. He attended Morehead State
(Division I) in Kentucky and was chosen Team Captain by his junior
year. He started his coaching experience with The Waves,
a summer league swim team, in South Montgomery County from 1996 -
2000. In 1998 he was hired on as an Age Group coach for The
Woodlands Swim Team (TWST). In 2004 Shane joined Klein
Aquatics as the Head Age Group Coach which he continued until the
merger and creation of Premier Aquatics where he is today. In
this, he has now over 20 years coaching in USA Swimming.
Shane has been teaching History for the last 20+ years and
currently with Conroe ISD. He and his wife Leslie live in
Magnolia with their two daughters Meghan and Teagan.
Coach
Eriek was born and raised in Iowa where he started
swimming at the age of 8. He then found his way to Minnesota
where he swam for Edina High School, earning multiple All-American
honors. Then he went on to swim for the University of
Minnesota, earning a B.A. in Journalism (Advertising) with a minor
in Film History. While there he was part of two BigTen Conference
Champion teams, leading them as a Co-Captain his Senior year while
earning All-Conference and All-American honors during his
tenure.
Eriek served as the
Student Assistant Coach at the University of Minnesota for one year
before accepting a position as the Senior Assistant Coach at The
Woodlands Swim Team. While there he helped coach many wonderful
athletes on to State Championships, Junior and Senior National
competitions, as well as through two Olympic Trials.
Eriek has been married to
his wonderful wife, Laura, since 2002 and has four children -
Arella, Zoe, Zadok, and Dakaia - two of whom joined his
family through adoption (he’ll let you guess which
two!).

Brandon Galownia has enjoyed competing in
many sports throughout his life: soccer, football and of course
swimming. He has been swimming competitively since he was
8-years-old and now applies his swimming abilities towards
triathlons and Ironman competitions. Graduating from Oak
Ridge High School, he was a Varsity swimmer all four years, Captain
his Senior year and swam in the State Championship. Also a
former PACK swimmer who trained under Coach Mike, Brandon has
represented our club in numerous finals across many meets and helps
further the consistent approach to technical instruction.
Brandon graduated from Sam Houston State
University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with an
emphasis in Public Relations and a Specialization in
Business. During college he coached the Oak Ridge North
Otters for four years and has been the head coach at Imperial Oaks
Seals Swim Team for seven years having multiple undefeated seasons
and managing a membership of over 300 athletes. Brandon
enjoys coaching children and adults the fundamentals of swimming
and never plans on stepping away from the swimming world for the
rest of his life!
When Brandon isn’t at the pool, he
works full-time as a Pipeline Controller and loves spending time
with his wife and two boys (Ashley, Blaise and
Crew).

Coach Valerie has lived
in The Woodlands since she was a toddler and has been swimming
as long. She swam her first race at age three and began
swimming with TWST in 1988, when she was five years old, with much
success blossoming into a Breastroker and IMer. By eleven she
was a junior national competitor and by fourteen a senior national
competitor. She was All American in high school setting
records in the 100 breaststroke in 2001, and was team captain for
TWST that same year.
Coach Val’s love
for coaching developed while coaching for the Marlin’s summer
league team in 2003-2004, then as the lead swim instructor for
TWST’s learn to swim program Pre-TWST from 2003-2013. In
2005 she became The Woodlands Christian Academy’s head swim
coach and coached all three swimmers on the team to state where
they were all finalists. In 2005 she joined the TWST coaching staff
as an assistant coach. Since then she has coached many different
groups of all ages and all levels coaching swimmers from the
developmental level to the National level.
Valerie is married to her
high school sweet heart, Dax Nichols who is also a former
swimmer. Valerie is very close to her family, and when not
coaching enjoys spending time with her 3 kids, her 3 siblings and
their kids, and her parents. She loves a great crawfish boil,
and boogie boarding at the beach, especially when joined with her
family and close friends.

ASCA Certified: Level 1 Coach Kirsten began
swimming on the multiple Military Bases that her father was
stationed on beginning at the age of 4 and continued to swim until
she moved to Maryland. She joined the Clippers US Swimming
team at the age of 14 and swam through high school, while also
playing soccer as that was her primary sport. She coached the
Oakland Mills Tiger sharks our local summer league in Maryland as
the assistant for 2 years and 1 year as the head
coach. She also coached the Clippers age
group swimmers and their beginner lessons. She
continued her coaching for Kids First as the assistant
manager and Piney Orchard as the assistant coach with Shaunna
Purtell in Maryland before becoming the Head Coach for the Patuxent
High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Swim teams. Recently she
relocated to The Woodlands Texas and wanted to continue her love
for coaching of all ages and talents.

Jon was born and raised in Texas where he attended
Kingwood High School. He is an alumnus of Texas Tech
University and swam competitively for thirteen years with summer,
club and high school teams. Jon started his coaching
career with a local summer league team after high school, but
developed his love of coaching while working for PACK Splash, where
he has continued to serve as lead instructor for the past six
years. Coach Jon appreciates working with swimmers of all
ages, and enjoys helping students discover their own passion for
the sport. You can find him, in or out of the water, working
with Bronze, Copper and PACK Splash level students at Klein High
School.

Coach Shaunna was born and raised in
Upstate New York where she started swimming at the age of 6. She
earned many State Swimming appearances during her time swimming for
Southern Saratoga County YMCA. In eighth grade she made the
Shenendahowa Varsity swim team, and ended up receiving rookie of
the year after her 500 free performance that earned her a trip to
States. Her family moved to The Woodlands, TX in 2001 where she
joined TWST and started her TX swimming career swimming under Coach
Mike. While at TWST she gained multiple TAGS, sectional, National
and then later Olympic Trial Times. She also swam for The Woodlands
High School under Coach Shane where she was All-American and part
of the 2006 girls State Championship Team! She was named Captain
her senior year for both TWHS and TWST. She would go on to swim
college at West Virginia University (Div 1) while earning her B.A
in English Literature. While at WVU she continued to grow as an
athlete and captured many Big East top 6 placements and still holds
school and Big East Records to this day. She was Honorable mention
All-American her senior year as part of the NCAA Div 1 relay team
that placed 15th in 2010. She held the captain position for her
senior year at WVU and led the Women’s Team to a 2nd place
finish at Big East.
Her coaching career began when she
coached for Pre-TWST swimmers and during the summer for The
Woodlands Marlins. She continued her coaching career at WVU for
their club team, specializing in 8 & unders and 9-12 yr olds.
During her 5th year at WVU (2011) she served as the Student
Assistant Coach and went on to be the Graduate Assistant for the
next 2 years while earning her Masters Degree in Athletic Coaching
Education. She coached multiple swimmers to Big East Championships
and NCAAs. She then ventured out to Virginia where she coached at
Machine Aquatics and coached many kids to Nationals and Olympic
Trials. She began working full time where she moved coaching to
summer league only to stay in the sport, but is glad to be back to
coaching at a larger scale!

Coach Kimberlee
Slaughter has been involved with swimming almost her
entire life. In elementary school she began swimming competitively
for an AAU team, the Burford Swim Club, in Arlington, Texas. At 15
Kimberlee realized she had such a love and passion for swimming
that she began teaching young children to swim. She has been
teaching babies, children, and adults to swim for more than 35
years.
After moving to Spring,
over 13 years ago. Coach Kimberlee became involved with 3 of
her 4 children in summer league swimming. Very soon she was asked
to assist with the younger age-group swimmers as an assistant
coach. Kimberlee previously coached summer league with the
Gleannloch Farms Gators and the Memorial Northwest Marlins.
This will be Coach Kimberlee’s 6th year with Premier Aquatics
and she looks forward to being able to bring her motivation,
enthusiasm, and passion for swimming to Klein Collins High
School where she will be the pool lead coach and coach of the
Gold and Silver Programs.
When not at the pool,
Kimberlee teaches school at Abercrombie Academy where she is a 4th
grade teacher and, also, the Math teacher for all of the 3rd, 4th,
and 5th grade students.

ASCA Certified: Level 1 Coach Louise joins the Coaching team at PACK
with 16 years of Swim teaching and Coaching
experience! She
operated her own swim school in the UK in 2007, before moving to
Texas in 2009, with her husband and 3 Children, all who
have swam for PACK over the 12 years in
Texas! Charlotte, her youngest Daughter is also a member of PACK and
swims with the National Group!
Louise
was Head Coach for the SCO Dolphins for 2 years and assistant coach
for 3 years before that, and has also Coached year round for 2
other local teams for a total of 7 years and she still Coaches for
a Masters group, and encourages all parents to “give it
a go”
She has
recently enjoyed helping Klein Champions with their swim program,
while perusing a new career in Massage Therapy, and is looking
forward to Graduating in late December, hoping to specialize in
prevention and recovery from Sports related
injuries!

Coach Travis Subda began swimming in NWAL at the age of 11 for the Kleinwood Dolphins. He swam for Klein Collins High School from 2003-2007 where he lettered all four years of his career. He was a multiple event All-American and All-State recognized swimmer. In his senior year he was a state finalist in the 100 yard Breaststroke and held the school and Klein Collin's pool record in the 100 yard Breaststroke. He swam for Klein Aquatics from 2004-2007 where he had multiple sectional cuts and a Jr. Nationals cut.
Travis then went on to swim for Hiram College, located in Hiram Ohio where he majored in Neuroscience with minors in Music, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. He was a four-year collegiate swimmer and Captain of the swim team his Junior and Senior year. He was the first swimmer from his college to be voted NCAC Conference swimmer of the week and held 9 School records and 2 pool records when he graduated.
Travis has been coaching for a total of 12 years. He began coaching his Freshman year of High School where he was the volunteer stand in Head Coach for one year at Strack Intermediate School where he lead the Cougars Boys to a District Championship. He then was a volunteer Assistant Coach with Strack for two more years where the Cougar ladys were District Champions two years and the boys once. Travis has currently served as the Assistant Head Coach for the Gleannloch Farms Gators for the past eight years.
He was also named Concordia Lutheran High School's Head swimming coach in 2012. He currently is starting his 4th season with the Crusaders. Since becoming the coach he has had multiple State champion swimmers and the boys team has finished in the top 3 of the Tapps Division 1 State Championship the previous two years. Travis accepted a teaching position at Concordia this year and will be teaching Biology and Anatomy and Physiology.

Coach Landen was born in Clear Lake, TX.
Landen then moved to Canada until the age of 7. As a kid
living in the snow he quickly learned to compete whether it was
in a snowball fight with his brother or a sleigh race
down a hill. He then moved back to the Houston area, just
north of The Woodlands and began swimming competitively at age 7
for The Woodlands Swim Team. Landen swam with The Woodlands
until he was 19 and then finally hung up his cap and goggles.
Landen swam at TAGS, multiple Senior Zones Meets in Flordia and
South Carolina and Sectionals. If you would ask him what he
most misses about the sport, it would be the competitiveness
of practice.
Landen was part of The Woodlands College Park graduating class of
2016. As a senior he began working as an assistant for The
Woodlands Developmental swim program. He quickly realized
that he could help these young swimmers. Landen was a coach
for The Woodlands Marlins Swim Team where he learned from his
favorite coach and mentor.
Landen is currently attending Lone Star College and is planning to
transfer to a four year school to major in Law. In his free
time, Landen enjoys playing football, basketball and ultimate
frisbee. Every Sunday during the fall, Landen is watching his
favorite team, The New England Patriots. He is also an avid
hockey, baseball and basketball fan.

1 Coach Jim began
his swimming career while living overseas in Saudi Arabia
while his dad was employed with Aramco. There
he developed a love for swimming which eventually turned into
a love for water polo. While at Katella High School in Anaheim, CA,
he swam and played water polo for four years (three year
varsity). After graduation, it was his high school coach, Roy
Brown, who introduced him to the passion of coaching.
He began coaching at
Westador Waves in 1992, and other NWAL teams, before moving to the
club team, HEAT in 1998, then eventually PACK. His high school
coaching career began as the assistant coach at Klein Forest in
2002 for one year, then the head coach the following year. Since
Klein Forest, he has coached at Mayde Creek High School, Tomball,
Spring followed by Klein Collins in 2013, where he currently
coaches.
As a swim coach, he
has had swimmers and divers qualify for the State meet in
2012, 2016, 2017, and 2018, along with UIL regional and TISCA
qualifiers since 2002. In addition, he has had the privilege to
coach the USA swim team at the People to People Games in Amsterdam
in 2007.

Coach Katherine Bryant started as an age group swimmer with Sunkist Swim Team in Jackson, Mississippi. She then moved to Shreveport, Louisiana as a sophomore in high school where she swam for the City of Shreveport Swim Team (COSST). In her time with COSST, she became a Junior National qualifier and finalist in the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM, and 400 IM. Her versatile achievements make her an ideal fit with our IMX training philosophy!
Coach Katherine also coached the Piermont Oaks Country Club summer league swim team in Shreveport. After college, she also became an age group coach for Indian Aquatic Club in Monroe, Louisiana.
Coach Katherine met her husband Vaughn in college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where they both swam. Katherine and Vaughn have been married 23 years, and have 4 children - Mary Katherine, Sam, Ginger, and Anna Belle…all have proudly swum for Premier Aquatics.

Lyne has
been involved in swimming since 1997, when her daughter, Kathryn
started swimming with a NWAL summer league team, shortly followed
by Allison the next year, and then Matthew in 2003. Her
children started swimming with ATEX when they decided to start
swimming year round, and then when ATEX and HEAT merged, she became
a member of the 1st board of the new team, New Wave Aquatics,
first as Pool Communication Rep and then as Treasurer for the next
3 years, until the Spring of 2006. In the fall of 2006, she
started working as a member of the New Wave staff
part-time as the Team Administrator. When New Wave and Klein
Aquatics merged in the spring of 2007, she then became the
full-time Business Manager for the new team, Premier Aquatics
(PACK).
Lyne graduated from
Texas A&M with a BBA in Accounting and became certified as a
CPA shortly after graduating. She worked for the public
accounting firm, Deloitte, Haskins and Sells in auditing for
several years, and then went to work in gas accounting for one of
her clients until her 1st child was born. She has served
in numerous volunteer and board positions with PTO, High School
Swim Team Booster Club, Girl Scouts, NCL and other community
service organizations.

Matt has served on the Board of Premier Aquatics since 2009 and has been involved with swimming for a number of years, after moving to Houston from Australia in 1997. In 2001 his oldest son, Oliver, began competitive neighborhood swimming with NWAL, followed by Harry in 2002 and Hannah in 2009. In 2005 both Oliver and Harry began year round USA Swimming for New Wave Aquatics, transitioning to Premier Aquatics, before both aged out and went off to college. Both boys swam in college with Harry currently still swimming for Florida Tech. Hannah is currently swimming in the PACK silver program and is also very involved with the Special Olympics (aquatics) competition. Matt is a swimming official and is currently a Referee with USA Swimming, the NCAA, NWAL, High School and the Special Olympics.
Matt received the R.S. "Bob" Stallings Award from Gulf Swimming in Sept 2011 for outstanding service and dedication as an official. Matt is currently in his 3rd year as NWAL President.
Matt has 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and currently works for Bristow Group Helicopters as a Senior Director. Matt and his wife Bobbie have been married for 30 years and live happily in the Spring area.
Kathy and her husband,
Blake, have lived in Spring since 1999. Their three boys,
Carson, Landon and Harrison began swimming with their summer league
team in 2011. They soon saw many of their friends make the
transition to year-round swimming with PACK, so they decided to
join as well in the fall of 2013 at the ages of 11, 9 and 8.
Carson currently swims in the Pre-National group, while Landon and
Harrison currently swim in the Junior-Elite group. You can
often find Kathy serving at PACK hosted meets at the Volunteer
Check-In table and creating the SignUpGenius parent timer sign-ups
for PACK away meets. Blake has served as a USA official for
PACK and an NWAL official for summer league. Kathy graduated from
Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary
Studies. She taught for seven years as a Science Specialist
at a math and science magnet elementary school, where she received
the honor of Teacher of the Year for her school twice during those
seven years. She was also given the privilege of being named
the Math Lead Teacher for her school her last two years of
teaching. Outside of her teaching career, Kathy served as
President of her local chapter of an educational sorority in which
she is still a member, and served on the District Council of the
same sorority for twelve years where she held the offices of
Treasurer, Secretary and Historian. Most recently, Kathy
served on her boys’ elementary school’s PTO Executive
Board as Vice President of Membership for one year and Treasurer
for three years. Kathy enjoys spending time with her family,
traveling, and watching college football.
Doug has been involved
with competitive swimming for nearly 20 years in the Houston area
having supported NWAL, UIL and USA Swimming teams. He originally
joined KOAST (Klein Oak Area Swim Team) in 2002, which later became
Klein Aquatics and eventually merged with New Wave Aquatics to form
Premier Aquatics. He previously served on the PACK board
immediately following the merger.
Doug and Debbie have
been married to Debbie for 29 years and they have four children
(Lauren, Ryan, Brenden and Reagan) who have all swam for Pack at
some point. Brenden currently swims in the pre-national group. Doug
has a business degree from Sam Houston State University and
currently serves as the Director of Nutrition & Food Services
for Klein ISD. When not driving kids to their activities he enjoys
watching the Houston Astros planning the next Disney vacation and
spending time with family.
Susan comes to PACK from
TeamFINS after the teams merged in March 2018. Her professional
background includes Human Resource Management & Recruiting
for the Consulting & Accounting Industry. While
serving on the TeamFINS board, she was responsible for marketing
and communication. She also served as the invitational
coordinator for the GLF Gators summer league team for 3
years.
Susan and her husband,
Jose, have four children, Ema, Diego, Eric & Veronica.
Their sons have swam competitively since they were 5 &
6. Their oldest daughter was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome
when she was 2 1/2 years old. Susan has been involved for
over 7 years as a parent advisor & advotate for Texas families
affected by Rett. During this role she has been responsible
for organizing social & informational events and various
fundraisers to include promotional events for the Jan & Dan
Duncan Neurological Reserach Institute.
Stacey and her husband,
Jim, have lived in the Tomball area for over four decades and they
have two daughters, Erin (16) and Katherine (11), both PACK
swimmers. Initial efforts to teach their girls water safety
through seasonal swim lessons naturally progressed to summer league
participation and competitive, year-round swimming. Stacey
and Jim believe the sport of swimming promotes far more than just
athletic performance, and they truly enjoy the positive, friendly,
high-energy environment at PACK. Erin swims with the National
Elite training group and Katherine swims with the Junior Elite
training group.

Tomball High School, the University of Texas at Austin and the
University of Houston Law Center and she has been a commercial real
estate attorney for over 20 years. She currently works at
Cushman & Wakefield where she assists corporate clients with
leasing office space, the acquisition and disposition of real
estate assets and portfolio management. The Tilleys are
members of Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball where they are active
in Children’s Ministry, Youth/Confirmation Ministry and Music
Ministry. In her spare time Stacey enjoys any activity with
her family, reading great books, gardening and walking two
completely worthless Yorkie Poos named Trooper and
Smudge.
Chett's initial exposure
to swimming was in back in 2009 when his two oldest sons Chett and
Chantz joined their neighborhood swim team. Becoming enamored with
the sport, both sons joined PACK shortly after that summer league
season, and have continued since. Chett and his wife Altovise both
volunteer in many capacities with PACK. Chett appreciates the sport
of swimming for many reasons and has seen first-hand through the
growth of his own sons how swimming develops the complete
individual.
Chett is a graduate of
the University of New Orleans, class of 1995, with a BA in
Communications and is currently employed by Superior Energy
Services Inc as an Information Technology Manager. Chett and
Altovise are both natives of New Orleans and have made Spring, TX
their home since 2005. He enjoys meeting people, watching football,
reading, cooking and experiencing many cultures of the world
through food. When not at swimming events, he also enjoys Cub
Scouting with his youngest son Chase and volunteering as den
leader.
Demetrio has been married
to Gloriana since 1999, and they have two children, Valentina and
Alejandro. They emigrated from Venezuela to the United States
in 2010, currently live in Klein and became involved in swimming in
2011 when their children joined their neighborhood summer league
swim team. In 2012 their son Alejandro began swimming with
PACK. Alejandro currently swims in the Junior Elite
group.
Demetrio graduated from
the University of Zulia in Venezuela in 1994 and is a mechanical
engineer with more than 23 years of experience in the oil
field. He has worked in many different countries such as the
United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador,
Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.
In the sports area,
Demetrio belonged to the National Selection of JUDO of Venezuela in
the category of 86 and 91 kg. He competed in different
international competitions such as the
Pan-American tournament, the Central American and the
Caribbean tournament, South American tournaments and Latin American
Invitationals. Demetrio participated in the National JUDO
Selection and was national champion in the category of 86 kg. for 4
consecutive years. He was also a part of the university team
and was the national university champion in the category of 86 kg.
for 5 consecutive years. Once retired as an
athlete from the National selection of JUDO, Demetrio was
physically preparing athletes for a tougher competition in Judo and
Basketball.
Demetrio and Gloriana
enjoy supporting their children in their many activities, but
especially enjoy watching their daughter Valentina cheer for Klein
Cain HS and their son Alejandro at his swim
competitions.
Derek and his family have
been involved in swimming for over 15 years starting with summer
league. Derek was actively involved in their neighborhood
teams, serving as President and more recently starting a brand new
team in Auburn Lakes this year. Summer league soon evolved
into joining year-round swim for all 3 kids. Derek and his
family were active members of TeamFins, where Derek was President
and his wife, Lori, was fundraising chair. They are looking
forward to being PACK parents.
Derek is a 1996 graduate
of UTMB-Galveston Physical Therapy
program. He has been with Sterling
Ridge Orthopedics (SRO) in The Woodlands
for 12 years and their CEO
for the past three years. Under his direction, SRO added a
second location in Spring and expanded to over 75 employees.
Derek has always strived to serve others, whether it was his
patients in therapy, swim teams, community or his
family.
Derek and his wife Lori
have been married 22 years. They have 3 children –
Lauren (19), Hunter (14), and Ryan (12) and 2 furry kids –
Miley, their lab, and Toro, the German Shepherd. When not at
a swim board meeting, he enjoys watching the 2017 World Champion
Astros.
Rachel is a graduate of
Klein High School and Texas A&M University, where she received
her degree in interdisciplinary studies. Following
graduation, she returned home to teach in Klein ISD for 7 years and
headed up many campus improvement projects and organizations as
well as integrating technology throughout the district by teaching
classes in the evening. When Rachel and her husband, Mike,
decided to start a family she chose to become a stay at home mom
and raise their 3 children. Logan, a 2018 graduate of Klein
Collins HS now attending Texas A&M University, Reed, a junior
at Klein Collins and a swimmer with PACK's National Elite team, and
Raegan, a 7th grader at Strack who recently returned to PACK in the
Platinum group.
During the time Rachel
stayed home she kept busy by being involved in all aspects of her
children's activities. Various positions of the Lemm
Elementary PTO board for 8 years and volunteering at the school for
whatever needed to be done. Serving her church through VBS teaching
and Sunday school leader. Rachel has also been an NWAL
official for the younger 2 swimmers at Forest Oaks Swim Club for 6
years, Klein Collins HS for meets and PACK hosted summer league
meets. She also served on the Klein Collins Football board as
fundraising coordinator this last year. Rachel enjoys serving
her community and is passionate about the organizations her
children are involved with.
