Charlynn Andrews

Blue/White/White 1

am from Rome, Georgia and moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University. I served an LDS mission speaking Spanish in Yakima, Washington from January 2016-July 2017. I began swimming at the age of 6 and swam competitively throughout my childhood, high school and early college years. I was a state qualifier each year in high school and still hold the records at my high school in the 50 free and 100 Free. I began coaching at the age of 15 under the mentorship of   my club’s head coach and then filled the assistant coach position after graduation until I decided to serve a mission about a year later. The sport of swimming has my heart and I get a lot of happiness from helping others along their journey within the sport. Coaching is one of my favorite things to do as it gives me the opportunity to watch young swimmers find joy as they progress and meet the goals they set for themselves.
