Orren Jefferson Greenwood
Coach - Gold/Red
I am an ASCA level 2 certified swim coach. I have a personal saying in my life. It is “every day in every why I’m getting better and better.” As a coach my goal is to help my athletes to be better then they were the day before. The individual’s improvement is my primary objective. My emphasis is on competition with ones self. It is also to help them realize that the best moments in our lives are built around achieving everyday, and long-lasting, excellence. To me good sportsmanship behavior, respect for officials, congratulations to opponents and other competitors, and encouragement to teammates is of equal importance to improved performance. I strive to teach my swimmers to set realistic, yet challenging goals for meets and to relate those goals to practice in order to direct their training efforts.
My hobbies and interest include more than anything else spending time with my family. I also enjoy water activities, golfing, hiking, camping, fly fishing and watching sports.
Alexis J Ralph
Coach - Silver/Bronze
Alexis Ralph was raised in Bountiful, Utah. Currently she is studying Exercise Science at Utah Valley University. Alexis comes from a deep family of swimmers. After being in gymnastics for 6 years she started swimming competitively at the age of 10. Swimming quickly became her biggest passion and she has loved it every day since. Alexis attended Woods Cross High School where she was the 4- year MVP, broke 3 school records, was the 4-time 200 IM region champion, 8-time individual state medalist, and the 100 breaststroke state champion. She helped lead her team to a 4A state title, and led off the state champion 200 free relay team. She also swam for the Swim Utah club team in Salt Lake City. Alexis started teaching swim lessons in 2011. In 2016 she helped run a private swim school in Seattle, WA. She got her first USA swimming coaching experience as an assistant on her dad's team in Murray, UT. Alexis is a level 2 ASCA coach and loves being able to share her passion with her swimmers.
