Nick A Stevens
Head Coach FA & FCHS, Coach (Flashes)
Coach Nick began coaching with Flashes Aquatics in 2013.
He is a 2013 graduate from Ball State University and received
his Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Nick was a
Distance Freestyle swimmer for all 4 years at Ball State and was
Team Captain his senior year. Nick is the Assistant Athletic
Director at Franklin Central High School.
Coach Nick is also the Head Coach of the Franklin Central High
School Swim & Dive Team. He enjoys assisting swimmers
Age Group Head Coach (HS, Gold, Silver)
Coach Joe joined Flashes Aquatics in 2016. He began swimming at age 15 in high school. Joe graduated from Ball State in 2015 where he swam his entire collegiate career where he served as Team Captain; his favorite strokes are freestyle and breaststroke. Joe has always enjoyed the competition and the cool down. Outside of the pool, he enjoys golf and basketball. Joe is the Assistant Coach for the High School team, Interim Age Group Head Coach, and also works with the Silver & Gold groups. He enjoys working with swimmers of all ages to help them achieve their goals.
Coach (Silver & MS Head Coach)
Coach Jenny grew up in Chicago, Il where she began competitive swimming at the age of 4. She is currently seeking a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Indianapolis and earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Health Sciences degree in Exercise Science and Health Wellness from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is currently in the process of applying to Doctor of Physical Therapy School. She swam for the Redbirds at Illinois State University and sustained a shoulder injury where she has two shoulder surgeries, then transferred to University of Illinois at Chicago and finished her swimming career with the Flames and had her third shoulder surgery there.
Her passion goes above and beyond the pool, she wants to teach athletes the importance of dryland and injury prevention as well as techniques and workouts outside of the pool to make them stronger.
Coach (Lessons & Bronze)
Robyn is a 2015 graduate of Franklin Central High School.
She found her love for swimming at age seven
and joined Flashes Aquatics. Robyn swam throughout
middle school and high school and was the team capital her senior
year. Robyn has been a swim instructor for the Flashes
Aquatics lessons program for seven years. She is enrolled in
the Psychology program at UIndy.
Robyn works with the Copper group and is the Coach of the
Flashes Aquatics Learn to Swim program. Robyn enjoys seeing
swimmers improve their skills!
Coach Mike has been coaching with Flashes Aquatics for over 11 years. He has coached all levels of the club program, the middle school program and the high school program. Coach Mike has 3 children that have all been part of Flashes Aquatics.
Coach Lisa joined Flashes Aquatics in 2017. She has over 15
years of experience coaching competitive swimming, personal
training, group fitness, and triathlons. Lisa is a certified
Personal Trainer, USA Triathlon, US Masters, USA Swimming Coach,
and ASCA Level 3 Certified. She also holds other
certifications including Functional Movement Specialist, Spinning,
Yoga, Civilian Boot Camp, TRX and Group Fitness Instructor.
When she is not coaching, she works full time teaching kids virtual
Health and Physical Education at Indiana Connections
Lisa is a nationally ranked masters swimmer and triathlete.
During college at IU Indianapolis, she swam all 4 years as a
Division I athlete and as a top 3 finisher all 4 years in the Mid
Continent Conference, various Mid Continent Conference Academic All
Conference awards, NCAA Sportsperson of the Year Award, and various
other Academic Student-Athlete Awards.
Lisa resides in Franklin Township with her family and is excited to
be a part of the Flashes Aquatics coaching team!
Coach Natalie is a Sophomore at the University of Indianapolis and
is studying Psychology and Religion. She grew up in Bloomington,
IL, where she joined her first club team and found her love for
swimming at ten years old. She swam on her high school team for
four years and swam for two years for the University of
Indianapolis, swimming mostly backstroke and sprint freestyle. She
was also a swim instructor in her hometown for four
Coach Natalie works with the Bronze and Copper
teams, where she loves to see the swimmers reach their goals,
learn to be good sports and teammates, and have fun!
