TAAF STATE MEET DECLARATION 2019
T.A.A.F. State Swimming qualification begins at the local level with the swim athlete being registered through their member city swim team, affiliate swim team or as an unattached athlete.The T.A.A.F. registered athlete must qualify through regional competition (the region in which they are registered). Once the athlete qualifies at region level, he or she advances to the T.A.A.F. State Swim Meet held at the T.A.A.F. Summer Games of Texas
Only swimmers that place in the top three of age each age group in each event.
- 6 & Under
- 8 & Under
- 15 & Up do not have to qualify. Anyone can go to State, but they have to be declared. We will only advance people who have declared as going.
*****You must commit YES to this event page for your swimmer to be eligible to compete in the State Meet. You must leave a comment in the comment box if your swimmer wants to particiape in relays in Regions. If your name is not listed here by Sunday, July 7th then you will not be able to swim at the TAAF State Meet. Reminder, if you do not qualify in the top three spots in your event, you may still qualify for state because of scratches. Everyone needs to commit yes or no. More about this topic will be gone over in our Region Meeting with Coach Paige.******

Free parking will be located down the street from the Student Recreation Center in lots 100j and 97. Paid parking is located across the street from the Student Recreation Center in 100g and the West Campus Parking garage. Parking tags not required. Overnight parking and RVs not permitted.
