CCCAN 2019 BARBADOS

OVER ALL WINNER OF CCCAN: MEXICO

Today, following 3 days of exciting games,  the  CCCAN Water Polo Championships concluded in Barbados. In the 15 & under male category Trinidad & Tobago defeated Puerto Rico for the gold medal, while in the 18 & under male category Puerto Rico topped the podium by beating Barbados.

Open Water concluded today in Carlisle Bay, Barbados. Mexico topped the medal chart with 4 gold medals and a total of 210 points. The agegroup champions were Barbados (12-13 female), Jamaica (male 12-13), Curacao (14-17 Female),Costa Rica (14-17 Male), Honduras and Mexico tied in the 18 & over Female category and Mexico won the 18 & over Male category.

The Swimming portion of the CCCAN Championships concluded with MEXICO emerging as the Overall winner with 1480.50 points, more than 1000 points ahead of #2 Panama. Winning every single age category and claiming 125 total medals, 52 of those gold, Mexico made a statement with their participation in Barbados. 25   CCCAN Records were broken, 20 Individual and 5 Relays.

The Artistic Swimming Competition has concluded. The overall Age group Champion in each Category was Aruba winning 10 of the 11 gold medals awarded in the Championships.
