2019 Stroke Clinic 3: Speed & Power
WCAC is pleased to offer a new brand new Speed and Power clinic for Session 3 of this year’s spring Stroke Clinics! Gear up for the summer with starts, breakouts, flip turns and speed work for all four strokes.
This program is open to swimmers over 6 years of age provided that they are comfortable in the water and able to complete the minimum requirements listed below. The clinic is run from 6:00-7:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings each week.
The goal of this clinic is to break each stroke down to the basics and focus heavily on where the power of each stroke comes from. Swimmers will utilize various types of equipment to gain feedback on where drag is coming from and how to maximize their efficiency in the water.
Each session will be broken down with a different focus each week.
