ASCSC Relay Carnival

Relay Carnival Details:

The meet is at Nassau County Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park. Parking and getting to the pool will be a little difficult. There is a marathon taking place in the area. The only access to Eisenhower Park will be from Merrick Avenue coming off Hempstead Turnpike with is exit M5 from the Meadowbrook Parkway. The rest of the park and surrounding roads will be closed.

Warmup is at 8:00 a.m., the meet will start at 9:00 a.m.  The meet should be over before 12:00 p.m. We will be sitting in our normal spot to the left of Team Suffolk.

The doors to the Aquatic Center will not open until 7:30 a.m. All swimmers need to report to coaches on deck NO LATER than 7:45 a.m.

Admission for all spectators is $5 per person ($3 for a program).

We need three (3) volunteers for Relay Carnival - 2 timers and 1 meet marshall. Please email Coach Ely if you would like to volunteer. Volunteers will receive a team RC17 t-shirt, and will be right down on deck, on top of all the action!!

We will be warming up in lanes 9 and 10. Providing timers for Lane 9 only.

Changes to Relay Carnival this year:

1) The mixed medley relay that kicks off the meet will run as follows - 15-18's (back), 13-14's (breast), 11-12's (fly), 10&U's (free). One girl and one boy from each age group will be selected.

2) The crescendo free relay that finishes the meet will now be all 50's (no more 100's for the 13-14's and 15-18's). One girl and one boy from each age group will
