December, 31 2050

UPDATE January 2020 from USA Swimming:  Any athlete who is not in full compliance with MAAPP before the beginning of a meet will lose all official times from the meet.

USA Swimming is working diligently to improve athlete protection measures with MAAPP.  The new Swim Ohana policy is now posted for your review along with a link to many FAQs.

Athlete members will not be allowed to compete or be in a USA Swimming environment if the following is not completed.

Action Items:

1.  Complete the course training.

More Information:

1.  All member athletes age 18 or older (USA age group and masters swimmers) must complete the Athlete Protection Training immediately.  Athletes turning 18 will have a grace period to complete this training.  The training can be completed at the following link and will then show on your Deck Pass (if you use the USA Swimming app) or be retrievable by USA and/or Gulf swimming officials as needed.  Please visit this page for FAQ and login instructions.

2.  All "Applicable Adults" must review the policies for USA Swimming MAAPP to help ensure a safe environment for our athletes.  Applicable adults are any adult who comes in regular contact with minor member athletes at facilities, meets, practice, competitions-basically all swim parents/guardians.  All information can be found here
