Walk to the pool!  This hotel is less than one mile from the Allan Jones Aquatic Center, right on the edge of University of Tennessee campus. The Volunteer Hotel, formerly Hilton Garden Inn, close to downtown and area restaurants, and only a 15-minute drive away from Knoxville’s McGhee-Tyson Airport.

Update to TNAQ Meet information for their Nov 15-16-17 Meet

The entire meet schedule of events has been revised in order to accommodate both the meet and the Garth Brook concert requirements.

  1. The meet will now have only one session on each day. The new times are:
    Friday:  4:45pm - warm ups, 5:45pm meet start
    Saturday:  6:35am - warm ups, 7:45am meet start
    Sunday:  8:20am - warm ups, 9:30am, meet start
  2. The order of events have been changed around.  If this impacts the day(s) you choose to attend, be sure to review the new schedule.  It is on the team website on the TNAQ Meet page.
  3. If you have already signed up for the meet and wish to make changes to your commitment or requested events, you will still be able to do so prior to the sign up deadline.

Heat Sheets:

1) Heat sheets for coaches will be provided each day at the clerk of course. Please show your credentials.
2) We encourage coaches to scratch any swimmers not swimming events in prelims and timed finals at the clerk of course each day.
3) We will print heat sheets the night before each session. 
4) We will also post heat sheets on deck for swimmers, and online each day.

Parking on UT Campus:
(when school is in session)

PARKING ON THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS: During School Year
Parking will be FREE. Parking will be located at the Kingston Pike Lot-SC40, 2309 Kingston Pike, next to Tyson Park. This lot is a gravel area lot. No swim meet parking is allowed around the building or in the paved areas of the lot-paved areas are reserved only for employees of the Kingston Pike building. 
Shuttle buses will run from the parking area to the facility. You may also meter park on Lake Avenue, but you must pay the meter at those spots. There are no longer any meter spots on Volunteer Ave. If you choose not to park in the designated areas you are parking at your own risk and could be subjected to being towed, ticketed, or car booted.  (Parking Map)

SATURDAY YOU MUST BE OFF UT CAMPUS BY 1:00PM, OR YOU MUST RE-PARK AND PAY FOR CONCERT PARKING, OR BE TOWED!

THERE IS NO PARKING AT WALMART OR PUBLIX
 
Shuttle Schedule from the Kingston Pike lot to the pool:
Friday - 3:45pm -8:00pm
Saturday/Sunday - 6:30am - 30min after the conclusion of the last session.
 
Rules of the Facility:

Families will sit in the stands and are not allowed on deck unless working.  
Feel free to bring sleeping bags/blankets, chairs, and items to occupy your swimmer when not in the pool, these items are allowed on the pool deck only, not in the stands.
Coolers are allowed on the pool deck, not in the stands.

There will be a concession stand to purchase drinks and snacks. There is no running or throwing of balls (or any other object) in the building.
Seating - we have grand stand seating upstairs.  Down stairs there will be bleachers for swimmers and coaches only to sit on deck.
Pictures during the races: The officials have asked that no flash photography be used during the races as a flash start is used.
Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms, or on deck
