Hello SFH Swimmers and Families,
Time to get excited! The highly anticipated 23rd Swim for Hope Night is almost here. Additional specific details about SFH will be sent via email as we get closer to the event. Pledge envelopes (which include a waiver form) are available by contacting your Group Parent or by contacting the Legends’ office.
The money raised at SFH stays in the province to help cancer patients all over Newfoundland and Labrador. It may be for babysitting, rides back and forth to the hospital or even groceries. They need and appreciate your support. Our minimum pledge has been set at $55 for pre-competitive and $105 for competitive swimmers. You can collect pledges in person or people can donate on line at (link coming soon). Click, , enter your team name (Legends) and the swimmer’s name and what you have collected. That pledge will go towards your swimmer's total. Last year we raised $30,000 for SFH. This year we hope to match or exceed our previous year. We were the top fundraiser last year so let's work hard to keep our title!
Volunteers are hugely important in order to pull off such an important event. If you are able to help, please go online to our Legends' website where a signup sheet will be posted.
Food donations will also be necessary to keep our swimmers hydrated and full of energy. A list will be issued one week before the event.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
Thank you for your time and effort,
Your SFH Team
