** Warm up utilizing both 10 Lane & 9 lane pools, competition in 10 lane pool with 2 lanes of continuous warm up in 9 lane course.**  

Saturday Final: Warm Up – 5:00 PM-5:55 PM, Meet Start 6:00 PM  

Sunday Morning (13 & Over Prelims) – Warm Up – 

Sunday Afternoon (12 & Under Prelims) - Warm Up –

Sunday Final: Warm Up – 5:00 PM-5:55 PM, Meet Start 6:00 PM 


DISTANCE EVENTS: 1000 and 1650 frees will swim fast DISTANCE EVENTS est to slowest. The top heats of the Senior (top 10 of each gender) and 13-14 (top 9 of each gender) 1000 frees will be swimming at the start of Sunday evening finals utilizing both pools. All 1000 Freestyle swimmers will be allowed to opt to swim in Prelims via the positive check-in. All 400 IM’s and 500 Free will be swimming fastest to slowest except Thursday. After the scratch deadlines, the decision will be made by the Meet Referee in which pool each event will swim and whether to alternate heats of women and men. Slowest heat of men may be combined with slowest heat of women. 

Spectators: will be invited to enter the spectator Spectators: gallery 15 minutes after the athletes have been granted access to the pool. Please do not crowd the entrance to the gallery in order to allow swimmers an easy access to the pool. Spectators are not allowed to sit in the designated team area in the balcony at the turn end of the pool. Please also do not stand anywhere on the spiral staircase to the deck.  

MEET FORMAT:   The meet will be swum as prelims and finals. Returning for finals – 10 & Under events (1 heat of 10), 11/12 and 13/14 (2 heats of 10), Seniors (3 heats of 10). Each session will be pre-seeded by computer based on pre-scratches that are due by 6:30 PM the previous evening. Positive check-in will be required for 500 free, 1000 free, 1650 free. Heat sheets will be posted around the pool deck. Coaches will be able to pick up heat sheets for each event at the Clerk of Course table. The top heat of 13-14 and senior women & men 1000 freestyle will swim in finals at the start of the Sunday evening session. All remaining heats of the 1000 freestyles will be swum immediately after prelim swimming fastest to slowest. The 1650 freestyle will be swum fast-to-slow, alternating heats of women and men if pool breakdown allows. Swimmers must provide their own timers & counter for events 400 yards or longer. No events will swim with more than one swimmer per lane.

SITE: The MIT Competition Pool at the Zesiger Center has two 25 yard competition courses with seven-footwide lanes and non-turbulent lane lines and a separate 6 lane 25 yard warm-up and warm down pool. Depth of start and turn end approximately 7 feet deep. Timing Systems are fully-automatic Colorado Time System with touchpads and electronic display for both pools. The facility provides spectator gallery seating for approximately 400. The pool is located inside the MIT Zesiger Center, 120 Vasser Street, Cambridge, MA 02139. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4), the copy of such file is on file with USA Swimming.

COURSE: Two 25 yard competition courses, (10 lane and 9 lane) with separate 25 yard, 6 lane pool with 3 lanes open for continuous warm up and warm down.
