Rochester "Belt Buckle" All-Comers Boys Swim Meet

Meet Type: This is a single gender, prelim/final and timed final meet for athletes ages 13 & over

Fees: MSI Entry fee of $5.00 and $1.00 Individual events. $31 Facility surcharge includes facility rental, admission, parking, heat sheets, awards, and facility athlete charge (RSI).

Time Schedule: Morning warm-up session will start at 8:00am, warm-up session will end at 9:00am and the meet will start at 9:10am. The afternoon session, will not start before 4:00pm following a 60 minute warm-up.

Meet Location: Rochester Recreation Center Natatorium, 21 Elton Hills Dr, Rochester, MN 55901.

Directions: Approaching Rochester from the South or North on US Hwy 52 take the 19th Street NW exit. From the North, take a left across the bridge and continue on the Elton Hills Drive. Follow Elton Hislls Drive to just before the intersection with Broadway (0.8 mile). The Rec Center is on the left prior to the Broadway Intersection. If you approach from the South take the 19th Street Exit, veer right and contiue through the light onto Elton Hills Drive. Follow Elton Hills Drive for about 1 mile. Pool is on the left. Entrance to the pool during competition is on the WEST side only.

Entry Limitations: Age of a swimmer is determined by their age on the first day of the meet. A swimmer
may compete in a maximum of 3 individual events per day and 1 relay per day. All seed times must be in yards.

Eligibility: Swimmers currently enrolled in High School in grades 7-12 are invited and will be entered as such. Athletes must have a 13-14 "B" time to qualify to swim in an event - see event order for details. Members of the Rochester Swim Club are not required to meet the minimum time standard requirements. Swimmers in the 1650 must provide their own timer and counter.

Order of Events

All events require 13/14 "B" times as a guideline for entry. We will be checking the 400 IM, 500 Free, and 1650 Free against the SWIMS database for time standard enforcement - if times do not check out the entry will be removed, and the team's entry chair will be contacted. All other events will not be checked against the SWIMS database and no penalty/removal will be enforced.

TEAM COLORS Please wear either black/gold or NSAC apparel for warm ups at all swim meets. This promotes a more unified presence and promotes more team pride.

SPORTSMANSHIP Shake hands with opponents after races regardless if you won or lost, no goggle or cap throwing and only draw positive attention to our team.

EVENTS Coaches have the final say in all events that swimmers compete in. If you are entered into an event you do not want to swim, still give it your best. The coaches have your best interest in mind and put you in events they believe you can swim.

BE EARLY Please arrive 15 MINUTES prior to the start of meet warm ups.

COMMUNICATION Speak with your coaches before and after each race.

CHEERING It is important to cheer on your teammates throughout the duration of the whole meet. This helps to create a unified and supportive environment.
