Halloween Party and Swimathon Extravaganza at Eagle Park Pool
It's the Spookiest Swimathon Yet!
A Deadly Combination: a Party and a Swimathon
(And Swimsuit Ordering)
This year, Eagle Park Pool is the site of a combo Halloween Party-Swimathon. It's no trick. The annual Swimathon is the team's only big fundraiser outside of two home meets in the spring. Swimmers collect pledges from sponsors and then swim as many laps as they can in an hour. It will be scary if you don't show up!
This is a great team-building treat of an event—and an easy way to fulfill your family fundraising obligation of $150 per year. It is integral to LAMVAC's financial security.
Don't say, "Boo!" Just plan to participate and support the team!
The easiest way to contact potential donors is online through the LAMVAC website.
Go to the home page and click on the Swimathon banner or "Please Help" button at the top of the page. You can log into your swimmer's account and personalize the donation request before sending an email to family and friends. You can send an email directly from the team site, or you can send the URL from your personal email. Donors can do a participant search to find their swimmer, once they're in the fundraising page. You can also track your pledges and, afterward, send thank you notes—all at the click of a button. Sponsors can donate by check or credit card.
Coaches, Masters and Tadpoles are eligible to participate in the Swimathon.
