Regional Championships (25Y)
(this is a team hosted event)
Location: Stoughton High School
The Wisconsin Regional Meet is the finale championship meet of the season for all swimmers before the state meets. This meet is open to all swimmers.
Meet Format: Please read the meet information carefully, the time standards can be confusing. All swimmers who have NOT achieved a WI state qualifying time are eligible to swim the event in their own age bracket. Swimmers who have achieved a state qualifying time in an event may swim that event in the Open category if they have not achieved the Senor state cut in that event.
Swimmers should be entered in their best events to maximize their opportunity for state cuts and personal best times of the short course season. If your swimmer has less than the maximum number of state cut swims, he/she should be entered in the meet and try for additional cuts and best times. Coaches will review all entries. If you have any questions about your entries for this meet, please discuss it with your coach, they are more than happy to help you.
NEW: WIN IT/YOU’RE IN IT: Any 12-Under swimmer competing and winning a 10-Under or 11-12 designated event, regardless of whether they achieved a Wisconsin State Cut, will be qualified to compete in that event during the 2020 Wisconsin Swimming’s SCY State Championships. Swimmers will be seeded at the slowest SCY Time Standard the following weekend.
With all of training effort everyone has been doing this season, we want this to be a great meet for all!
