Description

2020 Battle of the Ages Invitational

Saturday, June 20 & 21, 2020

Meet starts promptly at 9:00am both days

Warm-ups: 7:30am – 8:45am (RH time will be assigned closer to meet)

Battle of the Ages is a fun format that is a great experience for all swimmers. Swimmers compete within their exact age as opposed to within their age group (ex. 7 year olds swim against 7 year olds as opposed to 7&8 year olds).  It also offers double - distance freestyle events (i.e. 50yd free for those that only race 25 yards).  This meet also provides swimmers an opportunity to swim against those competing outside of the VSA that they may otherwise race in regular dual meets.  Battle of the Ages is two full days and is run in reverse age order - 18 year olds swim first in each event. This meet may run through mid-late afternoon depending on the number of swimmers entered. Different than past years, the coaches will choose events for your swimmer. Please sign in/out as you would for any other meet.

Coaches are encouraging ALL SWIMMERS to attend this meet this year!
