Relays 4 Cam
Hello UMLY Families!
My name is Dylan Smolders and I’m a member of the senior group here at UMLY who will be leading the annual Relays 4 Cam event on Friday November 15th .
Cure4Cam is an organization that was started back in 2011 when an UMLY swimmer, Cameron Evans, was diagnosed with Leukemia. After he lost his battle with cancer, his close friends and family started the organization to raise community awareness for childhood cancer. Through student volunteers, they run different fundraisers such as the relays event we will be hosting at UMLY. Since UMLY started participating in the Relays 4 Cam event, we have raised over $37,000 dollars! 100% of the funds we raise go straight towards childhood cancer research, so the impact UMLY has made in the past is huge and we strive to continue this in the future.

Remember, all of the coins add up and can make a huge difference. You can also donate online at: http://cure4cam.org/donate
