Champs Rally & Dinner
It’s time to get charged up for Champs!!
Please sign up as soon as possible
so we can plan accordingly!
The Annual Champs Rally and Dinner will be held at the CSD Pavilion & Patio on Thursday, July 23. Sign up online (just like a swim meet – please indicate the number of people attending), so we will have an appropriate headcount. This is a fun event for the entire team and their families. Questions should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
VOLUNTEER: click this link or go the TAZ website and sign up to help. This is a great way to finish off your 12-hour volunteer requirement or help out a little more!
TICKET SALES: Meal tickets are $5 per person at the door (swimmers are free). Please make checks payable to EDH Swim Team. You can also buy TAZ spirit wear and pick up your Champs book at this time.
HAIRCUTS: Custom TAZ Haircuts by Barber Tom will begin at 5:00, first come first serve. Cost per cut is $20 for a basic buzz cut with "TAZ" shaved in the back. More elaborate cuts must be negotiated with Barber Tom. See attached for picture
TAZ ART: Budding artist Gabrielle Payton will be on hand to decorate swimmer's backs for Champs, first come, first serve. She will draw TAZ or write eat my bubbles. Cost is $5 per graphic. Please see attachments for pictures of her work.
DINNER: Dinner will begin around 5:30pm. It will include penne pasta with Mizithra or Marinara (no meat) sauce, bread and butter, garden salad, fruit and dessert.
RALLY: photo booth, car window painting, poster painting, nail painting, tattoos, and music.
In keeping with TAZ tradition, at the end of the festivities, the coaching staff will retrieve the sacred TAZ pool water to pour into the Champs pool during opening ceremonies.
