Spring "BLUE" (JO MAX) Champs @ Fullerton College

Description

POOL: FULLERTON COLLEGE, 321 E. Chapman Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832. PARKING: Friday: $3.00-enforced until 10 p.m.; Saturday: $3.00 from 7am – 2pm, after 2pm and Sunday FREE. Please note you must park “Head In”.

COURSE: FULLERTON COLLEGE POOL is an outdoor 25 yard by 50 meter pool with ten (10) swimming lanes and a warm-up area. This competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2 ( C ) on file with USA Swimming. Pool Depth Measurement at Start End: Lanes 1 – 10 = 7’ – 13’’, Turn End: Lanes 1 – 10 = 7’ – 13’.

MEET START TIMES: Preliminary events for the OLDERS will begin at 8:30 AM. Finals sessions will begin no sooner than 1 hour after the completion of the final heat of the 5 - 10 TIMED FINAL events each day. 5 - 10 TIMED FINALS events will begin 45 minutes after the last preliminary heat of the day (Sun after the 1000)

FINALS: A Single Championship Final (10 swimmers) will be offered for 11/12 and 13/14 and 15 & Up events. The National Finals’ scratch rule will be used. A swimmer must scratch or place an intent on an event within 30 minutes of announcement of preliminary results. Final: SCRATCH ONLY. Final “no show” (original top places only) except last day will be removed from the remainder of the meet. A $50.00 fine will be assessed to the swimmer for a no show in her/his last event of the meet.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Swimmers may only swim a maximum of SIX events during the meet, and no more than 3 individual events per day. Swimmers must have achieved the minimum Blue Time standard for each event entered. If a 5-8 swimmer is able to prove 3 blue times, they may add bonus events not to exceed 3 swims per day. 5-8 swimmers may only swim the 50 yard Freestyle once. 5-8 swimmers may not enter the 25 of stroke if they have achieved the “2019 Spring JO” time standard in the 50 of that stroke. 7-8 swimmers may compete in 5-8 or 7-10 events, but not a combination. If a 7-10 swimmer is able to prove 3 blue times in 3 different strokes, they may add bonus events not to exceed 3 swims per day. Swimmers entering the 7-10 500 yard Freestyle event, must enter their best 200 yard Freestyle time that meets or exceeds the stated minimum time standard. 14 and Under Swimmers must not exceed the 2020 Spring JO time standard listed for the events entered. 15 and Older Swimmers must not exceed the 2020 Summer JO time standard listed for the events entered. Swimmers entered in 14 & Under relays may NOT exceed the 2020 Spring JO time standard; 15 & Up swimmers may not exceed the 2020 Summer JO time standard for the stroke they swim in the relay. The 400 IM, 500, 1000, 1650 Freestyle events will be swum alternating girls and boys. The 500, 1000 and 1650 Yard Freestyle events will be swum as TIMED FINALS. Each team is asked to provide timers for all events including relays. Swimmers in the 500, 1000 and 1650 yard Freestyle are asked to provide timers for three heats and their own lap counters. ALL EVENTS WILL BE SWUM FASTEST TO SLOWEST.

ENTRY FEE: $5.50 for each INDIVIDUAL EVENT, plus $17.00 SURCHARGE per swimmer. $3 processing fee has been added. All meet fees will be charged to your DA account. NO REFUNDS OR EVENT CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER THE MEET DEADLINE.
