Women's Winter Water Polo
WATER POLO (W3P)
WHO: Open to any female water polo player in 7th grade and up from any junior high or high school (preferably with some experience). **6th graders may participate ONLY if they have been on an organized swim or water polo team before. No exceptions.**
WHAT: Practice and scrimmage
water polo with an emphasis on drills, fundamentals, and skill
work. Potentially play in scrimmages with other winter clubs.
WHERE: All practices will be at the Jenison HS Aquatics Center (2140 Bauer Rd., Jenison, MI 49428).
WHEN: Monday and Thursday nights from 8:00-9:30pm. Dates of any additional practices/games will be announced when and if they become available. Check the calendar every Sunday. If a practice is cancelled due to weather, we will do our best to make it up but cannot guarantee any make up dates.
COST: Only $88* per resident (or S.O.C.) and $136* per nonresident if you pay at Jenison Community Ed. or online prior to 3pm on the day you choose to begin. Online registration is available at recpro.jpsonline.org. If you pay at the pool, the cost is double ($176 and $272, respectively). If you come to practice without paying, you may sit, watch, and pay the regular price at community ed. prior to the next practice OR pay double to get into the pool that night. **No exceptions.**
Checks for the regular cost will not be accepted at the pool.

PRESEASON DOWNTIME AS CLARIFIED BY THE MHSAA
“The preseason down time is a ‘pause in the action’ that the Council adopted which prohibits
open gyms, camps, or clinics, for a period of 6 to 14 days prior to the start of each season.
The preseason down time is March 1 until the start of spring sports” (MHSAA.com).
