All year-round SNOW athletes who satisfy the qualifying time standards are eligible to compete at this meet:
- Swimmers 13 and older must have Long Course Meter (LCM) “A” times or better.
- Swimmers 12 and younger must have Long Course Meter (LCM) “BB” Times or better.
- Swimmers entering events designated 15&O or Open must have 15-16 ‘A’ times or better.
- Converted short course times will be accepted.
Team rate of $119 (does not include taxes, etc..) at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at 2451 Riva Rd. Annapolis, MD. Reservation can be made by calling 410-224-4317 and indicating "Carol Chidester Swim Meet." Reservations in this block close on 4/1/2020. Cancellations must be made by 6:00pm one (1) day prior to arrival to avoid a one night stay penalty.
The Naval Academy does not issue temporary vehicle passes to athletes & their families. Every civilian visitor 16 years and older entering the Academy should be prepared to show a photograph identification card and have his/her bags searched. Arrive EARLY and/or use Gate 3 which is a foot-traffic only gate located off the intersection off King George St & Maryland Ave. You may drop off swimmers at the Gate 1 Visitor parking area (an adult must accompany them through the security check-point). The downtown garages are a short walk to Gates 1 & 3. Parking downtown on the street or in the lots are metered or by permit only, with enforcement beginning at 10:00 am by the City of Annapolis.

IMPORTANT: Please remember we are guests of the United States Naval Academy. Please observe proper respect in ceremonial areas. Children must be closely supervised at all times. All swimmers must enter and exit the swimming pool deck fully dressed, including shirt and shoes. Traffic and parking violations are strictly enforced. The pool is located across from the Armel-Leftwich Visitors Center, which is a great place to visit and learn more about the history and tradition of the U.S. Naval Academy.
Note: Because we are outside the Maryland Swimming LSC, the Meet Director has requested that we submit our entries before February 20 2020. We will send an updated file with updated times prior to the meet.
