This page is to sign up as a timer at the Canyons Age Group Invitational Classic ONLY. If your swimmer is entered in this meet, timing is MANDATORY per the Canyons Volunteer Policy. Please click on the Job Sign Up tab and choose the timing slots you would like to volunteer for. Thank you!
IMPORTANT TIMING INFORMATION -
*Meet Admin is requesting that swimmers in ALL events in the Friday PM session (200 back/breast/fly) provide their own timers, and that 500 Free and 1650 Free swimmers provide their own timers and lap counters.
*The Timing Sign Up Page will close on Thursday, February 13th @ 5pm. Any open timing slots at that time will be assigned by Volunteer Coordinators, and those assignments will be communicated via email. After this time, if you become unable to work the timing slot you signed up for or were assigned to, you are responsible for finding your own replacement. If you find yourself in this situation, please communicate with Volunteer Coordinators immediately. Failure to find a replacement, or being a no-show for your timing shift will result in a $25 penalty.
*This is a Prelims/Finals format meet. Meet Admin will assign Finals timing chairs to teams based on how many of their swimmers make Finals. Once we know our team’s Finals responsibilities each night, Volunteer Coordinators will be assigning families to our Finals timing shifts. These assignments will be communicated via e-mail and/or text notification, usually during the Finals warm-up session. If your swimmer makes Finals, you can expect to be assigned to a timing slot. It is your responsibility to monitor your email and text messages for this notification and respond to Volunteer Coordinators to acknowledge your assignment. If for some reason you are unable to fulfill your Finals timing assignment, you are responsible for finding your replacement. Failure to communicate with Volunteer Coordinators, show up for your Finals timing assignment, or find a replacement will result in a $25 fee.
