PPSC June Open Water Lake Swim Events
(this is a team hosted event)
2020 PPSC SUMMER OPEN WATER SWIMMING
This is an opportunity for all Senior I & Senior II swimmers to get back into the water in an open water format.
CHANGING FACILITIES: There will be two pop up dressing rooms at each location for swimmers to change in.
BATHROOM FACILITIES: Bathroom facilities will be available should someone need to use them.
DISTANCING: Swimmers need to abide by safe distancing policies in keeping six feet apart, hands off of each other and no sharing of equipment (may have swimmers bring fins and paddles at a later swim).
THINGS TO PACK: Wetsuit (if you have one), towel, water / gatorade, change of clothes for after, packed lunch or snacks if you want to stay and eat lunch together after, folding chair (if you want one for after).
PARKING FOR BISCAY LAKE: It is a private road. More specific directions will be sent to those who are able to come.
PARKING FOR SEBEGO LAKE: There is a STRICT 15 mph speed limit in place so please adhere to that. You may park on the lawn at the house and there is a path down to the lake.
SWIMMER SIGN UP: Please sign up through the JOB SIGN UP link for this event. We would like to be able to properly plan for the number of swimmers we will have.
VOLUNTEER PARENT SPOTTERS: We will need (3) parents to sign up through the job sign up link to be on water craft (paddle boards or kayaks that are already at each location) to help spot swimmers on the course.
