2020 Florida AAU Fall Short Course Championships

October 17th & 18th

The Doyle Aquatic Center @ The Long Center

Clearwater, Florida

Hosted By Clearwater Aquatic Team

This meet is open to all of our swimmers. It is an AAU Championship meet that will be observed by USA Swimming (more on that in an email soon to follow). Swimmers who are not currently enrolled with the AAU for 2020/2021 will need to register prior to attending the event. Swimmers who are not currently enrolled in USAS and want their times to count in the USAS SWIMS database must enroll with USAS prior to attending the meet.

Please remember to declare if your child in the notes section if he or she wants to be included in the USA Swimming Database. There is an additional $10 charge for that. Please also note that he swimmer must be registered for both AAU & USA Swimming prior to attending the event. We can take care of the registration on our end, just let us know your intentions. We just want to ensure that there are no surprises after the families are billed for said registrations.

We decided on this event as it will be held in an indoor facility that is less than an hour away. We will swim against three (3) other area teams (CAT, TV & GTSA). We feel it is a great opportunity for kids to get up and swim fast. We will rest the swimmers for each of these monthly meets due to the current situation. We hope your family will attend. If you have any questions, please reach out to your training group coach.
