Meet Format

Meet will be run slowest to fastest. The meet will be held in SCY format. The meet will be run as a Timed Finals competition. The process shall be as follows:

Mountain View (13 & Older Sessions):

• 2 heats of swimmers will be in the block area at the start of every race. 1 Heat of swimmers and the following heat will serve as timers.
• In order to slow down the pace of the meet, all swimmers will complete a 25 easy swim following the conclusion of their heat and exit the pool from the opposite end.
• Swimmers in the following heat will prepare to swim while the previous heat swims their 25 easy.
• The next heat of swimmers will move behind the blocks and assume the positions of timers for the heat.
• Back-up timers (volunteer parents) will fill vacant spots in the timing positions.

Cobb Aquatic Center (12 & Under Sessions):

• Volunteer parents will serve as timers for each event.
• 1 heat of swimmers will be in the block area at the start of every race.
• In order to slow down the pace of the meet, all swimmers will complete a 25 easy swim following the conclusion of their heat and exit the pool from the opposite end.
• During the 25 easy, the following heat will move to the block area and prepare to swim their race

Entry Fees

Entry fees will be $6.00 each for an individual event.  An Electronic Heat Sheet fee of $3 will be charged to each swimmer.
