Practices 1/25/21 - 1/30/21 (PARENT VOLUNTEERS)
(this is a team hosted event)
In order to hold practices during the pandemic, and to reduce the risk of Covid-19, the Petaluma Swim Center (PSC) has instituted policies requiring that all swimmers, coaches, PSC staff, and anyone else who has express permission to come on deck during the pandemic, wear face masks upon entering and exiting the facility, maintain at least 6' social distancing while on deck, and have their temperature taken prior to entry.
PSC staff (lifeguards) are responsible for checking temperatures. If a lifeguard is not on duty or cannot be found, Dea Ann has purchased a thermometer for team use, that will be stored inside the classroom doors, to the left. It is in a team labeled box, with extra batteries and anti-microbial wipes.
For our part, the Westside Aquaducks is requiring that a parent volunteer be present before and after each practice session to make sure swimmers follow the face mask and social distancing policies. Additionally, we are asking for parent volunteers to assist with the D2 and Purples group to help swimmers find their lanes at the beginning of practice.
