2021 UT WFFM New Year Classic
Since we did not know if the OA meet was going to happen or not, here is another meet that I am trying to get us in. There is no guarantee that we will be able to get into this Swim Meet but I am working on it. Please still commit or decline because I would like to make sure I have all entries ready to go if the Meet host says Yes. See below information and read the attached information. Please also read the sanction information. More Covid guidelines will soon follow.
Our Team Registration deadline is January 9th by 9am.
Our Pool at Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center

Friday 1/22: Warmups at 4pm/Meet starts at 5:15pm
Friday 1/23: Warmups at 12:30pm/Meet Starts at 1:45pm
This meet will be limited to number required to comply with the current Local Covid-19 Maximum # of people allowed on the pool deck.
Individual swimmers may enter up to Eight (8) individual event per meet and Four (4) per session.
No Times (NT’s) are accepted.
Surcharge per participating swimmer: $12.00 Event fee: $6.00
Our team will be required to provide timers for each session. Parents, please be prepared to help time. More info to follow.
Deck access is limited to swimmers, coaches, officials, and meet workers. Officials and coaches must wear their USA Swimming ID cards to be allowed on deck. Only currently registered coach members of USA Swimming may be on deck in a coaching capacity.
All individual events 200 yards and shorter are negative check-in.
The 400 IM and 500 Freestyle will be positive check-in events.
Friday and Saturday’s individual events will be run as time finals.
Swimmers participating in 400 IM or 500 Free longer must supply their own timers for those events

USA Swimming, Inc., cannot prevent you (or your child(ren)) from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while participating in USA Swimming sanctioned events. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to participate in a USA Swimming sanctioned event, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
BY ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN THIS COMPETITION, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AND FOREVER RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS USA SWIMMING AND UTSI AND EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY LIABILITY OR CLAIMS INCLUDING FOR PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DISEASE OR PROPERTY LOSSES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CLAIMS OF NEGLIGENCE AND GIVE UP ANY CLAIMS YOU MAY HAVE TO SEEK DAMAGES, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, FORESEEN OR UNFORESEEN, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
