The coaches will be asking a select number of swimmers to participate in this competitive meet, with Head Age Group Coach Mike Cook making the final decision on team participants. Selected swimmers will be notified by March 2nd.
Championship Meet Selection
Criteria: Swimmer selection for
this meet will be based on the following: past meet performance,
practice attendance, meet attendance, and the total number of
events each swimmer has posted times for. This is a Championship Meet,
so please note that event selection for this meet will be
done by the
coaches in order to maximize
overall MAKO team points.
Swimmers who are not
selected for this meet will have the MAKO Spring Fling as
their end of season championship meet.
WARM UPS / EVENT SCHEDULE
Thursday - TIMED FINALS
- Session 1: 11-14yr Girls Warm-up: 3:00 pm. Events 3:50pm
- Session 2: 11-14yr Boys Warm-up: 5:20 pm. Events: 6:10 pm
Friday, Saturday, & Sunday - PRELIMS & FINALS
PRELIMS
- Sessions 3, 9, 15: 11/12yr Girls Warm-up: 7:00 am. Events 7:50 am
- Sessions 4, 10, 16: 11/12yr Boys Warm-up: 9:20 am. Events: 10:10 am
- Sessions 5, 11, 17: 13/14yr Girls Warm-up: 11:40pm. Events: 12:30 pm
- Sessions 6, 12, 18: 13/14yr Boys Warm-up: 2:00 pm. Events: 2:50 pm
FINALS - (Top 8 11/12yr) & (Top 10 13/14yr)
- Sessions 7, 13, 19: 11/12yr Girls/Boys Warm-up: 4:20 pm. Events: 5:10 pm
- Sessions 8, 12, 20: 13/14yr Girls/Boys Warm-up: 6:15 pm. Events 7:00 pm
