Meet: Ohio Virtual Championships Sessio B
Location: Keating Natatorium, St Xavier HS,  600 W North Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45224
Dates: Feb 19-21, 2021
Entry Deadline: Sunday Feb 21st
Entry Limits: Swimmers can enter up to six (6) events for at the meet

Entry Fees:  $20 flat fee per athlete for the meet

Meet Format: This is Ohio's end of season Championship meet.  This meet replaces all previous year's Championship meets (e.g. Senior, Regional, and Junior Olympics).  This meet is held at several locations across Ohio and all results will be compiled and awarded as one meet..   Raiders are assigned to the Cincinnati Keating Natatorum pool.  All events are timed finals and in short course 25-yards.  No relays will be contested however the fastest 4 individual times will be composited and sent in for each age group category.

What Meet do I enter? Session A or B?

Session A (Feb 19-21, 2021)

--- All 8 & unders
--- Any 14 & under swimmer that has not achieved an Ohio Junior Olympic cut. 

Session B (Mar 5-7, 2021)

---All15&O swimmers
---Any14U swimmer that achieved at least one individual 2020-2021 or 2019-2020   Junior Olympic Short Course 25Y or  Junior Olympic Long Course 50M time standards.

Additional Notes:

  • If your swimmer achieved a JO cut in 2019-2020 and has aged up and no longer have that cut we will honor the event(s) at the March championship Meet. They can swim their 6 events on March 5th-7th.
  • If your swimmer achieves a JO cut at the February championship meet, they will be able to compete in that race at the March championship meet if they choose. However, the time they swim at JOs will be the time that is counted toward their official time whether it is slower or faster.
  • 13-14 & 15&O 50's will be offered at the March championship meet only. We will not offer 13-14 & 15&O 50's at the February championship meet
  • No Time Trials will be offered
  • Top 2 seeded heats per age group will be treated like a finals session. They will walk out with music, names will be announced, and there will be heat winner ribbons!

Schedule

Friday (All ages):

  • Warm up: 5pm (Raiders assigned 5:25-5:40pm)
  • Meet Start: 5:45

Saturday/Sunday AM (15-overs)

  • Warm up: 8:00am (Raiders assigned 8:30-8:55am)
  • Meet Start: 9:05am

Saturday/Sunday PM (10un, 11-12, and 13-14s)

  • Warm up: 11:30am (Raiders assigned 12-12:25pm)
  • Meet Start: 12:35pm

Awards:

  • Ohio Swimming will provide medals for places 1-20 in each age scoring category.
  • Scoring is by each individual age:
    • Senior: 15, 16, 17, 18O (non-NCAA)
    • 14U: 8U, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
  • Additional prizes and coupons will also be available from the Ohio Swimming sponsors: Swim Outlet & Speedo.  Other awards:
    • High Point Team Award
    • High Point Team by age category
    • Individual High Point by age category
