CONDITION OF SANCTION
As a condition of this sanction, Crescent City Swim Club (CCSC) agrees to comply & to enforce all COVID 19 health and safety mandates and guidelines (including face coverings, social distancing, and mass gatherings) of USA Swimming, Louisiana Swimming, the State of Louisiana, local jurisdictions, and the CCSC Meet Plan detailed below. Meets conducted in violation of these requirements & safety plans are subject to having the sanction revoked & will not be issued sanctions for future meets during the COVID 19 sanctioning period.

The CCSC has taken enhanced health & safety measures for athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, & others participating in this meet. You must follow all safety instructions in the following meet sanction. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Senior citizens & those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending this meet, you assume all risks related to exposure to COVID- 19.
COVID-19 RELEASE “An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness & death. According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. USA Swimming, Inc., cannot prevent you (or your child(ren)) from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while participating in USA Swimming sanctioned events. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to participate in a USA Swimming sanctioned event, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. BY ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN THIS COMPETITION, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 & FOREVER RELEASE & HOLD HARMLESS USA SWIMMING & [THE LSC] AND EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY LIABILITY OR CLAIMS INCLUDING FOR PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DISEASE OR PROPERTY LOSSES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CLAIMS OF NEGLIGENCE & GIVE UP ANY CLAIMS YOU MAY HAVE TO SEEK DAMAGES, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, FORESEEN OR UNFORESEEN, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.”

CCSC COVID 19 MEET PLAN
FACE COVERINGS All meet participants – coaches, officials, administrators, spectators, vendors, and athletes (between events) must wear face coverings and comply with mandated social distancing and mass gathering rules.
LOCAL PROTOCOLS FACE COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING All meet participants – coaches, officials, administrators, athletes (between events), spectators and vendors must wear face coverings and comply with mandated social distancing and mass gathering rules whether inside or outside. All participants are asked to maintain social distancing, six feet of space, in addition to masking to help mitigate risk as well. LOCAL PROTOCOLS Currently, there are no protocols existing that are more strict than state guidelines, thereby the state guidelines will be the main determinant for deciding facility protocol. These guidelines include but are not limited to: wearing of face coverings, occupant capacity, social distancing rules and safety rules, and pool rules that come directly from CDC guidance for aquatic facilities. ENTRY & EXIT PROCEDURES
All meet participants and spectators will be prescreened before entry. All must enter through the main entrance and exit through side door.
Swimmer count will be limited to 40 swimmers per session
Spectators will NOT be allowed to enter the building to watch their swimmers.
Parents are allowed to be at the competition as spectators, meet administration, timers and officials and all safe sport rules documented later are applicable.

Location: St. Martin’s “Thanksgiving” Pool, 600 Haring Road
Times: Friday session one warm up 4:30, meet starts 4:55
Saturday session two warm up 7:15 AM, meet starts 7:50
Saturday session three will warm up immediately following session two
Facilities Water Depth: 3.5 feet to 13 ft. 6 inches from both end walls.
Timing Colorado 6000 Timing System, meet manager 6.0 will be used.
Pool Certification This Pool has NOT been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C (4)
Rules Conduct if this event shall conform in every respect to all technical and administrative rules of USA Swimming and Louisiana Swimming. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be accompanied by a Certified USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When NOT accompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. All meet directors, referees, starters, and stroke and turn judges, serving in an official capacity must be members of USA Swimming. All coaches and officials MUST be prepared to present their USA Swimming ID card as proof of their registration to the Meet Director or designee at any time. No entrant will be permitted to compete unless the entrant is a member of USA Swimming as provided in Article 302. It is understood and agreed that USA Swimming and Louisiana Swimming, Inc. shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event. All events will be mixed.
Entry: Each swimmer will be limited to (4) individual events. Individual events will be $3.50 each. The Louisiana surcharge is $8.00 per swimmers. There will be a facility fee of $5.00 which will include a digital heat sheet.
MAAPP All applicable adults participating in or associated with the meet acknowledge that they are subject to the provisions of the USA Swimming Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policy (“MAAPP”), and that they understand that compliance with the MAAPP policy is a condition of participation in the conduct of this competition. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, locker rooms, or behind the starting blocks. Flash photography of any kind is prohibited at the start of a race.
Deck changes are prohibited.
SAFE SPORT The LSI Safety Program is in effect for this meet. Coaches are advised to closely supervise their swimmers at all times. Swimmers may be dropped off only in designated safe areas. Swimmers are not permitted in work out rooms, storage rooms, meeting rooms, or control rooms. No glass containers or bottles are allowed inside the facility at any time. Anyone failing to comply with a safety request may forfeit his or her privilege to participate. We strongly recommend each team assign a marshal to monitor warm-up sessions and locker rooms in addition to host team marshal.
MEMBERS WITH DISABILITIES OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS
CCSC welcomes all swimmers with disabilities as described in the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, Article 105, to participate in our meets. Coaches entering swimmers with disabilities that require any accommodations are required to provide advance notice in writing to the Meet Director by the entry deadline accompanying their meet entry file, including the need for any personal assistants required and/or registered service animals. Members who are unable to wear face coverings because of a documented medical condition must notify the Meet Director in advance and may have limited deck access. Failure to provide advance notice may limit CCSC’s ability to accommodate all requests.
Facility rules: St. Martin’s ask that all swimmers & spectators comply with the following facility regulations. Spectator parking is allowed in the parking bays on Haring Road in front of pool. DO NOT block our neighbor’s driveways.
1. No food allowed in the facility.
2. No “horse play” in or around the facility.
3. No smoking!
4. No glass containers.
5. Comply with directions of security & lifeguards.
6. Please police your area at the end of the day.
