  • Saturday & Sunday, February 27-28

    • Mixed 15 & Over Prelims Warm Up 6:45am – 7:15 am | EVENTS 7:20 am 

    • Mixed 13 & 14 Prelims Warm Up 9:45 am - 10:15 am | EVENTS 10:20 am 

    • Mixed 11 & 12 Timed Finals Warm Up 1:15 pm - 1:45 pm | EVENTS 1:50 pm

    • Mixed 13 & Over Finals Warm Up 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm | EVENTS 5:35 pm

  • Events #1 - 36 = Saturday

  • Events #37 - 72 = Sunday

ENTRY DEADLINE AND SESSION CAPACITIES:

The turn around time for entries to this meet is very fast. If your swimmer is interested in swimming please sign up this weekend, so that we can submit our entries early next week so that we have good chance of getting accepted. 

  • Entries OPEN: Monday, February 15, 2021, 12:00 Noon
  • Entries CLOSE: Upon reaching swimmer capacity for the session/Friday, Feb. 19 
  • Session Capacities:
    • 100 swimmers for 13-14 (10 DC Wave) and 15 & Over sessions (10 DC Wave)
    • 83 swimmers for 11-12 session (7 DC Wave)

COVID PROTOCOLS - PLEASE READ!!!

  • All attendees (athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, spectators) must wear a mask to enter the facility and throughout the facility, with the exception of athletes when competing or warming up/cooling down. 

  • Athletes must arrive and depart in their suits. Locker room use must be minimized to emergency use only. 

  • Spectators will not be permitted into the facility. 

  • The meet will be live streamed on via YouTube. The link will be shared with participating families. 

  • Before registering your young swimmer, please consider that they can manage themselves for the duration of the meet with just their swim coach overseeing them, including being able to visit the bathroom independently. 

  • Each session will be limited to 82 swimmers. Swimmers will be assigned to a seating area. Seating areas are marked to allow for social distancing. 

  • Before entering the facility, all attendees (athletes, coaches, and volunteers) are required to be able to answer the following questions on an online Health Attestation and will only be permitted entrance if answering appropriately and with no symptoms of COVID-19. These include:

    • Fever (temperature of 100.4°F or higher) or Chills 

    • Nausea or Vomiting 

    • Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing 

    • Cough or Fatigue 

    • Muscle or Body Aches 

    • Headache 

    • New Loss of Taste or Smell 

    • Sore Throat 

    • Congestion or Runny Nose

  • A designated staff member, official, or volunteer will be in place to observe/marshal COVID-19 guidelines and report back to the coaches and officials on concerns or improvements. ·

  • Swimmers will not be permitted into the building prior to their arrival time. Swimmers will proceed to their assigned seating area, prepare to enter the pool, and follow marshals’ and coaches’ directions to enter the pool while respecting social distancing guidelines. 

  • One-way traffic flow will be implemented. Swimmers will enter the pool deck from the start end of the pool. Stairwells will be one-way traffic only. 

  • Each swimmer should bring a plastic zipper bag in which to place their mask when in the pool. · Swimmers will wear their masks until they arrive at their lane and they will take it off and place it in a bag. The bags will be placed on chairs behind the starting blocks during warm-ups and competition. Swimmers will immediately put their masks back on before they exit the pool deck. 

  • Swimmers must follow all directions as posted and adhere to all marshals’ directions. ·

  • All swimmers must remain in their designated space while in their seating area and while waiting in Clerk of Course. 

  • Swimmers may not enter another swimmer’s “square” of seating. 

  • Any swimmer, coach, official and/or designated volunteer not following meet protocols will be subject to immediate removal from the meet. 

  • Contact information for all volunteers will be collected. 

  • We request that all attendees notify the meet director as soon as possible if they have tested positive for COVID-19, shown symptoms or have been in contact with anyone exposed to COVID-19 after attending the meet.

 

ATHLETE AND EVENT SELECTION

Facility capacity limitations due to COVID at Claude Moore allow for a maximum of 100 swimmers for 13 & Over and 83 swimmers for 11 & 12 sessions. Our team has been allocated a total of 27 spots (10- 15 & O, 10 - 13 & 14, 7 - 11 & 12.

If you would like for your swimmer to be considered for this meet please declare your intent to attend by Monday, February 15th. We will select swimmers to attend this meet according to the following criteria:

 

  • 15 & O Session - (1) Registered for 2020-2021 Booster Club (2) Have been attending practices regularly (3) Did not get an opportunity to compete in December and/or January (4) HS Seniors actively being recruited to swim in college and needing times to update schools will be prioritized to swim in this session (5) Parents are certified meet officials (6) Parents volunteered more than 40 hours of service to the team the previous season. 

 

  • 13-14 Session - (1) Registered for 2020-2021 Booster Club (2) HS Prep or Age Group 3 swimmers (3) Have been attending practices regularly (4) Did not get an opportunity to compete in December and/or January (5) Parents are certified meet officials (6) Parents volunteered more than 40 hours of service to the team the previous season. 

 

  • 11-12 Session -  (1) Registered for 2020-2021 Booster Club (2) Age Group 2 or Age Group 3 swimmers (3) Have been attending practices regularly (4) Did not get an opportunity to compete in December and/or January (5) Parents are certified meet officials (6) Parents volunteered more than 40 hours of service to the team the previous season.
