& Finals)

LOCATION: Cunningham Pool
START TIME:
FRIDAY:
Arrive at 3:15pm
Warm-ups : 3:30pm
Meet Start: 5:00pm
SAT & SUN:
Arrive at 7:15am
Warm-ups: 7:30-8:15am
Meet Start: 9:00am
FINALS START (Sat & Sun): The start time
of finals (~3pm) will be announced each morning.
ENTRIES: Swimmers may compete
in one individual event Friday night and
up to 3 individual events, plus relays on
Saturday and Sunday. Entries will be
submitted online via our team website.
HOW TO SIGN-UP: Sign-ups for
this meet will be done online through our team website.

COACHES CAN ENTER
SWIMMERS: If you would like
your coach to enter your swimmer in the meet, please just ask.
Because entries are through our team website for this
meet, coaches can easily enter swimmers in the meet. Just have
your swimmer talk to their coach at practice or send Coach
Jennifer an email to have your swimmer entered.

5. click on your events
6. your coach will approve your event/events
7. your team account will be charged the entry fee per
athlete
- Swim your best events! This is a
Championship Meet and we are going for points. Talk to your coach
if you have any questions on what events to swim.
- All swimmers entered in
meet will be ENTERED IN RELAYS unless
coaches are otherwise informed.
Count on being in a relay.
RELAYS: Coaches will enter the relays.
We will put ALL entered VJO swimmers in relays, so please notify
the coaches if you are not able to be in a relay. Relays are very
fun one of the most exciting parts of the meet for the kids!
ENTRY FEES: Friday’s
event $10 flat
fee. Saturday’s events
$25 flat fee. Sunday’s events
$25 flat fee. Entry fees will be charged to team
account.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday, July
30th by 11:59pm
FINALS: The top 12 swimmers in each event
will move on to swim in finals. All 8 & Under events and 9-10
relays will be swum as timed finals (in the morning session).
Longer events will also be swum as timed finals. Please check
the meet sheet for the list of timed final events. Finals will
start no sooner than 90 min after the conclusion of prelims
(~3:00pm).
SPIRIT AWARD: The REAL theme this year
is OLYMPICS. We will all be
dressing up in any Olympic spirited wear. Lots of items you
already have at home could be used for a costume. We are trying to
win the SPIRT AWARD again this year! All VJO swimmers please
show your team spirit and dress with the Olympics theme for
the meet. Let’s get that SPIRIT AWARD!
SATURDAY TEAM LUNCH: On Saturday afternoon,
between trials and finals, we will be having a team lunch together
at the pool. More info on the team lunch will be sent out
after we get a head count.
