Tri-State Swim Conference
“B” Championship Meet
July 31st & August 1st, 2021
Location: Pittsburg Family YMCA, 1100 N Miles
Pittsburg, Ks 66762
Facility: Six Lane, 25 Yard Indoor Pool, Colorado Timing System
Times: The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m. Warm ups will begin at
7:00 a.m. With times assigned by the Meet Director. The
officials meeting will be at 8:30 a.m. The coaches meeting
will be at 8:45 a.m. Lane timing will be assigned by the
Meet Director in proportion to each team's participation.
Meet Type: Preliminary and Final. The finals will start 2 hours after the
Preliminaries. The specific start time will be determined by
the head official based on the time line and the meet progress.
Proof of All entry times must be proven by the submitting team via
Time: a html or Word version export of the Team Manager/Team
Unify meet entry report with “include proof of times” option
checked. To prove the relays, teams need to submit the relay
designation (A, B, etc...) and the names of the relay swimmers
Entry Entries in the form of a HY-Tek or Team Unify entry file and a
Deadline: report of the entries with proof of time in the format specified
above must be received by 11:00 p.m. On Monday, July 26th, 2021.

will be accepted until 3:30 on Tuesday, July 27th, to allow for
validation of the entries.
Entry Each swimmer must have a qualifying “B” time for individual events
Limit: and each member of a relay must have at least ONE “B” time (or swim
on the B relay team) at an invitational or at a dual meet or time trial which
meets the judging requirements established by the Tri State Swim
Conference and being timely recorded with the Vice President of the
conference. Each swimmer can swim a maximum of three (3)
individual events and one (1) relay per day.
Entry Fees: $3.00 for each individual event
$8.00 for each relay
$7.00 entry surcharge fee for each swimmer
No deck entries are allowed.
Scratches should be submitted by 8:30 a.m. On both days.
Checks should be made payable to: Pittsburg Y Swim Team
Awards: Individual events will be awarded conference medals for 1st -6th place
and conference ribbons for 7th and 8th.
Relay events will be awarded conference medals for 1st - 3rd place and
conference ribbons for 4th – 8th.
Team trophies will be awarded for 1st - 3rd place for Improvement
Team trophy will be awarded for 1st place over all points.
Age group individual high point awards for both men and women will
Best time and heat winner transfers will be given.
Scoring: Scoring will be standard scoring for a 6 lane meet as defined in USA
swimming rules: 7 point for 1st, 5 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th, 2 for 5th,
and 1 for 6th. The “B” division conference championship team trophies
for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded to teams with 10 or greater
participants, or 20 percent of the team's total registered swimmers as
of July 1, based upon highest percent improvement for both preliminary
and final individual event races (combined scores) as calculated by the
Hy Tek Meet Manager software. A 1st place team trophy will be awarded
to the team earning the highest points as calculated by the Hy Tek
Meet Manager software.
Heat Sheet: Heat sheets will be available to buy at the meet
Rules: Tri-State Swim Conference rules and rules adopted by the conference
from USA swimming will be followed.
Officials: Officials will be appointed by the host team. Anyone willing to help
officiate should contact the conference head official, Matt Zamora,
and attend the officials meeting before the start of the meet.
Concessions: There will be a concession stand available.
