Description

This meet is a New-England-Swim Siver Meet, but will also be the championship meet for our league.  Sign up by July 18th. When you are signing up for events you may only choose events that are black. The events with red indicate that your swimmer does not qualify for that event. Swimmers may compete in up to 6 events per day. Friday and Saturday are the main events and you can sign up for Friday, Saturday, or both. This meet will take place at RACO outside pool in Manchester, NH on Head Street.

ENTRY FEES: $6.00 per individual event   $2.00 per swimmer New England Travel Fee Surcharge $25.00 per swimmer Participation Fee

Heat Sheets: $5.00

FOOD: There will be a concession stand throughout the meet selling drinks and light snacks. No meals will be offered for sale at the meet.

VENDOR: A meet apparel vendor will be on site as well as a swimsuit vendor.

OTHER MEET NOTES:  Any damage to the premises or equipment is the responsibility of those doing the damage. Phoenix Swimming, City of Manchester, Matt Williams, Lori Paszko, and Greg Gowern and New England Swimming assume no responsibility for lost or stolen property.

LOCKER ROOMS: Locker rooms will be open for swimmers to change in and out of technical suits during the meet ONLY. All swimmers should arrive in the suits they plan to warm up in. There will be no use of the showers at any point during the meet.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE: Medical assistance will be provided at the facility. If you require medical assistance, please notify a facility lifeguard or staff member.

PARKING: Onsite parking will be limited to coaches and officials ONLY. Coaches and Officials are asked to carpool when available. All other parking will be at St. Anselm college. Parking instructions will be distributed before the start of the meet with maps and shuttle schedule. Special Handicap parking spaces will be available on site for non coaches and officials.

DIRECTIONS: The Raco Theodore Swimming Pool is located at 54 Head Street, Manchester, NH 03102. From the north: take 293 South to exit 4. Go straight through the lights. You should be on Harvell Street. Take a right onto Main Street. Go to your 3rd set of lights. Take a left onto Varney Street. Take your first right onto Head Street, the swimming pool will be on the left.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Facility Specifics: Ï Pool is outdoors Ï There will not be a required check in for this meet. Teams/families are responsible for making sure their athletes/staff do not have a temperature or any COVID symptoms. Ï There will be intermittent sanitary stations located throughout the field, locker rooms, and pool deck. Ï Locker rooms are available for changing in and out of technical suits only and no shower use is permitted. The locker rooms are attached to public bathrooms that will be used during the meet. Ï All spectators must enter the restrooms from the outside of the building and NOT from the pool deck. Officials, coaches and athletes may enter the bathrooms from 2 the deck. Ï There are no restrictions to the number of people permitted in the pool at one time. Ï There are no restrictions to the number permitted on the pool deck. Ï There are no spectators allowed on the pool deck at any time during the meet. Only coaches, officials, meet staff, timers and swimmers are allowed on deck. Ï Everyone must maintain 6 feet of distance between themselves and others. Ï Following Safe Sport Guidelines, any parent who requests access to their child will be able to do so following the PPE safety rules and by contacting the Meet Director Matt Williams (603-475-8730) Ï State of New Hampshire Guidelines Ï City of Manchester Guidelines DISCLAIMER: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present COVID19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. USA Swimming, Inc., cannot prevent you (or your child(ren)) from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while participating in USA Swimming sanctioned events. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to participate in a USA Swimming sanctioned event, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. BY ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE COMPETITION, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AND FOREVER RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS USA SWIMMING AND NEW ENGLAND SWIMMING AND EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY LIABILITY OR CLAIMS INCLUDING FOR PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DISEASE OR PROPERTY LOSSES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CLAIMS OF NEGLIGENCE AND GIVE UP ANY CLAIMS YOU MAY HAVE TO SEEK DAMAGES, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, FORESEEN OR UNFORESEEN, IN CONNECTION WITH EXPOSURE, INFECTION AND/OR SPREAD OF COVID-19 RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THIS COMPETITION.

By participating in/spectating at 2021 New England Swimming Silver Long Course Championships and being on site at Raco Theodore Park, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19
