NLU Sprint Decathlon Sept 25 and 26
NLU Spring Decathlon - Sept. 25 and 26, 2021 at Gladstone Community Center, 6901 N. Holmes, Gladstone, MO 64118
Deadline to Enter is always well in advance than the Host Team's Deadline due to us trying to make sure we enter and get a spot.
COST: $5 per individual event + $3 per swimmer facility surchage + $25 Coaches fee
Saturday, Sept. 25
- Day 1 - Session 1 : 12 & Under Session - Warmups 9AM
- Day 1 - Session 2 : 13 & Over - Warmups no earlier than 12:30PM
Sunday, Sept. 26
- Day 2 - Session 3 : 12 & Under Session - Wamups 7AM
- Day 2 - Session 4 : 13 & Over (and 8 & Unders 25yard of each stroke) - Warmups no earlier than 11:30AM

NLU Meet Plan – Sprint Decathlon September 25-26, 2021
Note: Northland United reserves the right to modify any of these guidelines as needed to comply with local and federal Health Department guidelines. Gladstone Community Center is located in Gladstone, MO under the Clay County jurisdiction. Clay County Health Department guidelines will be adhered to during swim meets. Northland United agrees to comply and to enforce all health and safety guidelines of USA Swimming, the State of Missouri and Clay County.
General Meet Precautions:
Ï Masks are required for swimmers, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators at this meet. If you cannot or unwilling to wear a mask for the duration of the time you are at the meet, you should not sign up to participate.
Ï Any and all local requirements will be followed at the time of the meet.
Ï There will be no refund of entry fees for any reason, including but not limited to weather, illness or facility
Ï Anyone unwilling to comply with the safety precautions listed in this document will be asked to leave the
Ï All swimmers, volunteers, coaches and spectators are expected to arrive healthy. Anyone with symptoms of illness is expected to stay home. This will be communicated to coaches and families.
Ï Swimmers will arrive in their swimsuits and ready for competition.
Ï Swimmers will wear masks until they are in line behind the blocks. There will be a place to keep masks while swimming.
Ï Swimmers will report to the Clerk of the Course when their event is called. They will social distance while lined up.
Ï Swimmers are asked to crash with their teams.
Coaches, Officials and Volunteers
Ï Face masks are required for coaches, officials and volunteers.
Ï Face masks are required for spectators.
Ï Spectators may be limited depending on the number of swimmers and any local requirements at the
time of the meet.
COVID DECLARATIONS AND WAIVERS:
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures – for athletes, officials, personnel, and spectators. You must follow all posted instructions of the facility. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending and participating in a Northland United meet event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
In addition, USA Swimming, Inc., cannot prevent you (or your child(ren)) from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while participating in USA Swimming sanctioned events. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to participate in a USA Swimming sanctioned event, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
BY ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN THIS COMPETITION, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AND FOREVER RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS USA SWIMMING, MISSOURI VALLEY (LSC), NORTHLAND UNITED SWIM TEAM AND EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY LIABILITY OR CLAIMS INCLUDING FOR PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DISEASE OR PROPERTY LOSSES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CLAIMS OF NEGLIGENCE AND GIVE UP ANY CLAIMS YOU MAY HAVE TO SEEK DAMAGES, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, FORESEEN OR UNFORESEEN, IN CONNECTION WITH EXPOSURE, INFECTION, AND/OR SPREAD OF COVID-19 RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THIS COMPETITION.
